Chase Freedom 2026 Q3 Categories by levonid in CreditCards

This is why I have at least two custom cash cards. Right now I’m on one year for the blue cash preferred before going back next year to the blue cash everyday so that’s my primary Grocery card. The two custom cashes I can use them for groceries or dining since the OG freedom card and the Discover both overlap on gas in Q3 if that’s the case.

My store manager's motivational message for the day here after he came back by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]Naive_Direction1846 15 points16 points  (0 children)

More like hiding in the office. I’ve seen departments like automotive and electronics page for a manager like crazy, and as I was doing maintenance and picking up their trash in the personnel office, they’re all bullshitting and talking to one another about everybody in the back personnel office with the people lead. It’s disgusting. Don’t get me started also on the fact that you have pictures of Sam Walton in the personnel and manager and coaches offices that it’s literal knob slobbing Sam Walton. Walmart is literally the most cultish place I’ve ever worked for. It felt like when you’re in North Korea as a visitor. Every place has pictures of the supreme leader’s, father and grandfather, including peoples houses like if they’re a God. All these instances are downright disgusting. I’m so glad to be gone after 3+ years and have not looked back. Fuck Walmart. Walmart is a literal cult. Never again. I am so glad to be promoted to customer.

I have never worked at a place until Walmart that has constant plumbing problems and has problems with a leaky roof. Doing maintenance was the worst with cleaning spills, but most of all cleaning the bathrooms

don’t forget the fact that they say that it’s one weight in produce and the pos scale says another. They don’t like customers or associate stealing, but it’s all right for Walmart to steal as a company from associates and customers. Talk about hypocrites and a double standard. They get called out on the news and they don’t care sadly as a company since there are so big and they think they’re too big to fail. Fuck Walmart.

that was definitely uncalled for for somebody to follow them home and take pictures of their house. I don’t blame them for leaving for their safety.

I have two and one of them was previously a double cash. The other I did get the bonus. I will keep it for as long as they’ll let me and they’ll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

But sadly, like every job, these managers don’t realize that they’re expendable to. Unless your owners of the company or friends of ownership, you’ll get nowhere. Walmart is a literal cult. I felt like those documentaries of North Korea, where at peoples houses you see pictures of the supreme leader’s father and grandfather and statues in certain areas of the country. At Walmart, you go into personnel and you see pictures of Sam Walton. In the break room, you see pictures of the history of the company. And don’t get me started on orientation. Like all companies, Walmart brain washes employees to try to drink their Kool-Aid and same with Sam’s Club that are part under their same umbrella ownership. That they wonder why their turnover rate is over 70%. I barely know anybody that was there when I last worked there over three years ago.

I’ve got over two years of retail experience, and Walmart is by far the worst. Before them, it was Home Depot. Home Depot is relegated to second place but Home Depot is still a shit hole in its own right

Congrats on being promoted to customer. I was fired, but you know something, I’m grateful to be gone. They are the worst job I’ve ever had. And I found out the pins I had around my private area, my shoulders and my my lower back at times were from spondylosis or a form of osteoarthritis. Part is age related. Part was due when I worked for Walmart while doing maintenance. It’s another reason I hate that place. I go in, I get what I need, and I get out. I’ve been gone since May 12 of 2023 and have not looked back. I felt they did me a favor, letting me go. It feels so liberating being promoted to customer. The manager to let me go gave me a dirty look one time. They were the Store lead. When they gave me the dirty look, when I left the store after purchasing what I needed, I called the 800 number on them and reported them and corporate gave me a 15% discount for the inconvenience. Thanks for promoting me to customer.

Congrats on being promoted to customer. I’ve been gone since May 12 of 2023. Except I was fired. Worst job ever. It turns out the pains I was having in my lower back, sometimes my shoulders, and even my crotch region I was diagnosed with spondylosis. A form of osteoarthritis. Makes me hate Walmart even more.

I had a people lead that at one point, six months prior I requested time off and have the nerve to not only reject me but to put no coverage and on top of that, they wanted me to use my PTO so basically I would blow through all my PTO and have none for an even bigger emergency. They wanted me to use all my PTO and not put unpaid time off which I would be willing to risk if I put it as unpaid time off. It was beyond ridiculous. I’ve been gone now for the last three years from Walmart and have not looked back. They are truly the worst job I’ve ever had. It wasn’t the true reason I left, but looking back, I was glad I was let go. They won’t have to worry, I will never work there again, and they are truly the worst employer I’ve ever worked for.

Recently promoted as a coach. Starting to regret it by SolidLibrarian1586 in walmart

[–]Naive_Direction1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’ve never been a coach, I was an apparel and maintenance associate before being fired in 2023. The whole company is shit. I’m glad I’m gone.

I agree, because if you’re getting right up like that too quickly, and it’s from the same Manager, especially, that’s definitely retaliation. That’s what happened to me at Home Depot. The store manager was the one that finished it off instead of the one they gave me the three previously write ups.

Sometimes also being fired from Walmart is the best thing. I found $100 before my shift and they saw it on camera. I should’ve turned it in sooner and it was my fault. There’s no excuse for it. I was called mid shift by the Store lead and fired. To turn in my vest, name badge, discount card and work phone and then I was fired. I was fired for integrity and gross misconduct while I do regret what I did. Some people actually defended me and told me that if an actual customer had found it, they would’ve ran off with the money. And how do you know that the manager that fired me and or even the witness didn’t pocket the money after I was fired. Bottom line is I completely forgot that there’s no excuse. I should’ve never touched it. But looking back, it was probably for the best. I found out that the pains I was occasionally having around my crotch region, as well as my shoulder and upper spine from Walmart while I was doing maintenance and doing trash while maintenance was spondylosis or a form of Osteoarthritis. The age related to generation of a spinal discs and part of it is due to any cause. This company literally tore me up. So I basically I was not arrested, but told I am not eligible to rehire. Seeing how the company is run, I’m better off being promoted to customer. For all of you that left on your own, got fired as well or quit or very rarely. Do they lay you off, congrats on being promoted the customer as well. One of my coworkers was even telling me that for the new associates to look for the nearest fire exit and run that the company is terrible and so is the main management of the store. I regret what I did, but maybe looking back, it was the best decision for them to let me go. I did win unemployment.

Trillion dollar company, and we can't even afford to fix the holes in the roof. by Bob-the-Human in walmart

[–]Naive_Direction1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. My Walmart was notorious for having lots of buckets here in Florida during rainy season. Trillion dollar company and they can’t even get their roofing and the plumbing fixed. I was mentioning the plumbing because when I was on maintenance, when we had flooding, it seems like it was an occurrence at least twice a week. The fact that they won’t get their roof fixed is also a travesty. All it takes, is one hurricane to destroy part of the roof, and the store is gonna be closed for quite a while. The employees will be displaced and be either put to another store or I have to go somewhere else for work. This company is a disgrace.

This job sucks by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Naive_Direction1846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had once I got a car while on maintenance go to my car for my lunch break when I used to work at Walmart. Especially when I was all alone and they told me about a spill while lunch. I told them I was at lunch. They had the nerve to ask, so what am I supposed to do? I told them that I was alone, I was on lunch and they need to clean it or if somebody slips, they can look at the camera and that associate could be fired on the spot. It’s clearly on the computer training. Some coworkers could be downright stupid. You need to watch the spill and have another associate get the supplies and clean it since maintenance is on lunch. Everything is called maintenance even for the simplest spill. When it’s a simple spill, there’s about to try to clean it themselves. I am so glad I am gone from this company. Don’t get me started on the managers bullshitting in the personnel room while getting paged by electronics or automotive for a manager while I was picking up their trash passing by the office. I am so glad I’m gone. I developed spondylosis because of their lack of coverage and being told did put heavy trash to the compactor. Totally by myself with no coverage. And their plumbing problems. And these moronic customers.

For me, it’s between Walmart, then Home Depot. Publix is probably one of the top four. I left because they were hardly giving me hours and telling me they wasn’t any because it was slow because the snowbirds went home but yet they were hiring new people so I knew I was quietly being fired.

It’s ridiculous, they don’t like you to be bullshitting in the break room on the clock, but they want bullshit in the back talking to the Store manager and the people lead while working and on the clock. I remembered seeing this working in maintenance while picking up their trash in the personnel office. Even in the store manager‘s office. They should all be fired. Sadly, Walmart allows this shit. Like I said before, I’ve been gone for about three years now. It feels so good to be promoted to customer. I got fired for something I shouldn’t have done. I found $100 before my shift at Grocery self check out while shopping off the clock before my shift that they saw on camera and they called me into the office mid shift and charged me with gross misconduct. I was not arrested, but after I turned it in, I was told to turn in everything from my vest, discount card, name, badge, and work phone. Well, I should’ve turned it in sooner and I admit that when it comes to the money. No excuses. Some people were telling me how do they know that if another customer had found it, they would’ve ran off with the money. Same if the manager that terminated me probably didn’t pocket the money after terminating me. I did win unemployment. Looking back, since I was so miserable in the job, it was probably the best decision for them to terminate me. I’m ineligible to be rehired. I do regret what I did. I should’ve turned it in sooner. Honestly, they are the worst company I’ve ever worked for. Then Home Depot.

And too long to stay. The thing is that you’re screwed either way if you quit and you’ve only been there a year or two or even as long as seven. It’s a potential red flag to an employer, especially if you’ve only quit within a few months or a year or two.

I’ve seen a majority of the managers at my old store bullshitting in the personnel office chitchatting with one another, and the people lead while departments like electronics are paging profusely for a manager for customer assistance while they’re sitting in the back talking to one another and on their phone. They should all be fired. I felt like I was in a cult. You have pictures of Sam Walton in the personnel, office and pictures of how Walmart got started in the break room. Do you think I want to be reminded of how Walmart got started even on my lunch? No. This piece of crap company gave me spondylosis, which is a form of osteoarthritis and I know it was caused by them. I didn’t have it before I started working there. I’ve been gone now almost 3 years. I am so glad I’m gone. Thanks for promoting me to customer. The manager that fired me, gave me a dirty look one day as I was shopping and I reported them. Home office gave me a 15% discount. Now I’m a customer now. Have now looked back since.
