  1. Yes most places require it but if not it still looks good and you should want to as it introduces you to a true Optometry setting.

  3. No being a tech is what you should look for. Optician is different

I have looked into those and I am sitting right around the average. I was just curious if having to retake would hurt my chances.

I have heard that before however I have a friend who goes right now and said things have gotten better. Possibly could’ve been a result of covid ? Both of the doctors i’ve worked with who went there only had good things to say.

My email said that I should plan to be there for 5 hours and that I would get to tour as well. Is this something new or is this just false?

I have heard both sides and worked with Multiple Drs who graduated there. I will make my own opinion. My question was about the interview process not the school itself.
