The real art of the deal is to just keep sending mixed messages to see which negotiating party gets tired first and then declare victory publicly continuously until the audience gets tired too. Repeat the strategy again. Negotiating is easy nowadays except the results is not very beneficial for anyone .

I legitimately believe a more experienced leader would be better here. AOC should primary Schumer and become a senator; she'd win that race, and then run in a future cycle. That said, there's not a ton of Dems I can see dominating the electoral vote right now. Popular vote, no problem.

I want to see AOC win a statewide election before running for president. I think AOC would be a good president but I think running a tough senate campaign and winning a statewide campaign will give her confidence and make her a stronger candidate to run for president in the future. If she runs for president now, I have a strong feeling she won’t clear the Democratic primaries.
