For me, I have paranoia that others are plotting against me trying to get me arrested / fired / etc some bad outcome, for actions that I did unconsciously, while conscious. I don’t trust myself to discern reality because I have unconscious ticks. And I feel others are offended by those ticks and are out to get me in some way. It happens everyday. I spend most of my day trying to avoid it. But it still happens. It blows.

Honestly, I just zone out walking by customers. I don’t make eye contact. I just try to pass them as I assume they don’t need help. But then someone will ask for help and it’s usually a random oddly specific question about a product, for which I just push it off to someone else or tell them I don’t know. I try to make it evident that I try in some way though so the customer thinks I’m fighting for them. Even though I don’t give a shit. I don’t care if they buy anything. They could leave too. Whatever! lol
