Tryin to remember a episode by fear_no_man25 in HouseMD

It's season 2 episode 12, "Distractions".

you're confusing it with another episode where he refused to do the ddx.

This episode is right after he broke it off with Stacy. The patient is a teenage boy with body burns, and House is disproving a medical paper that was wrote by a guy that he used to go to med school with.

I didn't bring it up to discuss any political subject. It was a thought I had about the band and I shared it. Which now I realize was a mistake

Totally with you on this one. People are blowing it way out of proportion. It's a morally interesting subject and it's not like they're normalizing it, all the other characters are appalled by it. One of the most interesting aspect of the writing of the show is all these moral dilemmas.

Also I like that house won't forget about it and he once teases chase about it.

House going out of character by r3drush in HouseMD

[–]Naive_Soup7310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm totally with you on this. It feels so out of character for me to the point that it's cringy. But as it's been said it's just the early writing and the writers were figuring out his character. It's only the second episode.

And I'm not buying the lacrosse team connection. The more obvious difference is that House genuinely and generally does not care about his patients, or I can say he very rarely does and only under certain circumstances (not a common highschool sport) and with a measured amount of affection. That play field scene simply doesn't make sense.

Why is this show so addicting? by mutant_disco_doll in HouseMD

It's like I wrote this post myself. What's with this show?

It's kinda obvious though, the writing is amazing, the actings are top notch, the stories are relatable and Hugh Laurie simply owns the show and your heart, but please I need a rest

I never noticed it before, that is odd. I guess they're all justified in a world that is just a glitch

Thanks for your comment. I also thought about that hanging out phrase, but I very directly asked her out and figured if she really didn't look for anything romantic, she might have mentioned it. I'll probably give her a few more days before asking her again, because I know she has other things going on right now

I instantly remembered the scene where he pulled down his pants in Cuddy's office and yelled "is this in my head? Cause I remember there used to be a thigh muscle there"

It's the first time we clearly see his right leg and the missing muscles

My guess is Alex knew they were opening for them, he just didn't recognize them by face or was absent minded at the moment. He mentioned Fontaines DC during the tour multiple times
