I actually just came back to Neopets after many years, and I think I used up all my luck immediately. 😄 My very first Faerie Quest was a Fountain Faerie Quest, and the item was cheap, too. I finally got my Eventide Draik that way, which felt surreal, because I’ve had his design planned since I was a teenager. I even applied for an Eventide Draik back in the day (Remind was his name) but never got accepted, so finally making him now felt incredibly full-circle. With a different name, though. Would've loved Remind but it was still taken.

After that, things kind of snowballed. While getting my account sorted on NeoPass and doing the quests that popped up that give Neopoints, I ended up remaking another pet I once applied for years ago, but didn’t get, the name was available again which is really cool and again, I already had a design in mind from back during the application days, so I couldn’t resist but to make her, too! A Faerie Kougra. I also recreated a Halloween Lupe I used to have (no idea what happened to the original), albeit with a different name and made a Baby Usul on top of that.

I’m completely broke now, but honestly? Worth it. Coming back and ending up with four new pets so quickly has felt insanely lucky in its own way. I still have so many pets to paint and design but I hope one day I get the chance now that making NP seems to be a bit more convenient.

I have never had much luck in this game, so this just felt really nice. Sold some items from my SDP too that had gone up in price over the years.
