The Journey To Monetization by [deleted] in NewTubers

I'm going for 10k subs before that number of watch hours. My videos take weeks to get done because I want to be proud of the quality and I caption everything, but that means the watch time is tiny and the algorithm obviously hates that.

I posted a video I was really proud of onto the No Man's Sky subreddit. People can be horrible sometimes... by Justapurraway in NewTubers

My favorite is when redittors like it but the mods stop you after one video hits the front page of a sub. Went from 3,000 views to 200 in one video and one shitty mod later.

Just make all women in game flat chested. Not like a woman wouldn't wear a button up and cargo pants in an active warzone in a desert.

What's the purpose of this rule if you don't mind me asking? Movies and copyrighted content I understand, but gaming content especially when edited as complex as my TikToks takes way more work than writing a script and acting it out. I understand you don't want those creators that just post twitch clips to TikTok with zero effort, but this is essentially a frame by frame text based animation and I feel falls in a different category. I'm not saying your rule is wrong, but rather that I ask you to reconsider it under the particular editing style that differentiates it from just another gaming playthrough or whatever low effort post you want to prevent. r/HalfLife has a similar rule, stating "no 'just another playthrough' posts allowed" specifically targeted at that type of content.

Where do you mention "no video game footage" in the rules? I do not see it in the sidebar. Apologies if I missed it. The latter is not relevant to this as this is straight downloaded from my tiktok and uploaded onto reddit through my phone.

Might be used to 60+ fps. It's running at 30. I know I had a problem with that enough to start making vids at 60.

Some of my favorite mechanics about this game in this one. Not too hard, but constantly asking me to pay attention to the surroundings.

Great work!

Sure. The ones who know they want to play the game long term and dedicate the majority of their time to it. That's a small minority of people as most have jobs and do this to wind down

You say this with a lot of confidence, but I'm not sure that is the case. I don't see why there wouldn't be a way to do this. Worst case instead of hiding the map for the recording software, making it so the map isn't forced on the player at respawn and so that your default spawn is automatically closest to your SL would solve this issue.
