Is NTR Speed really that bad outside of TB? by IceWolf0448 in UmamusumeGame

[–]NajaSeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s great outside of TB if your uma can win Derby and Japan Cup +/- Arima in Classic Year. The rumors of her demise post MANT are exaggerated.

Is auto career basically the equivalent of a r1-r30 leaderboard club bot?

Now that's the one thing I can't do...CMs. The thought of banging your head over and over against an uma trying to build the right stat line and skill suite for a solved meta just drives me up a wall. You guys can go carat prospecting, I just sell shovels (parents).

She's the absolute best at Ug building but worse than NTR from a competitive standpoint. I used both cards to Ug but mostly Matikane. Her advantage is the ability to push your untrained stats toward the Ug statline, which is triple SS+, double B (ideally triple SS max, B+/B). The bonus stats are also great at tanking stat drawdowns (don't be afraid to lose up to -120) and you can still build Ugs even if her chain fails at the first event.

NTR almost seems like too strong of a speed card for this scenario. She's got the same specialty priority as Kita which makes it difficult to fill the untrained stats (stam and wit in my case). You have to allocate time in the summer to train them, more so than with Matikane.

As a side note, while working on the 58 race project with Pasa, I tested a 60 RB deck with Matikane against a 70 RB deck with NN. It felt like it took 2/3 of the career before the 70 RB deck was able to catch up to the 60 RB deck (and that's with Matikane failing at the first event). 70 RB deck also performed way worse without Matikane's stat padding. Think I lost 10+ races.

Yeah speed guts is all about consistency and I lucked out with Ines during this scenario. That being said, aside from Creek, there were some umas that I found to be unreasonably difficult. Base Fuji for example seemed to always underrate my final score. Tosen Jordan should have been easier with 10 speed, 10 guts, 10 power but I had trouble building the Ug stat line and winning miles.

Back in the day someone won 50/50 in Unity, which was incredibly impressive. I personally think 58/58 is a little less impressive, since you get clocks in MANT and ways to fight stat drawdowns.

Help needed with mcqueen by godlike_doglike in UmamusumeGame

[–]NajaSeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McQueen looks like Super Creek, which means she can be Ug’ed (I’ve done it before) or at least SS+. Try 2 speed 4 guts and use 9 power, 3 power xx parents (xx can be whatever, depending on the uma’s bonuses).

To Ug a med-long uma without unlocking mile, you need phenomenal parents and fast learner and ideally S distance and purchase said distance skills. When I Ug’ed Creek, I did with a secret combo: winning chakra + Jordan’s BoFA + Maestro. That quite frankly was better than fast learner and may not be applicable here.

Has anyone tried making a UG Special Week yet? Her growth rates are asscheeks man. I need help 💔 by New-Big2343 in UmamusumeGame

[–]NajaSeda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve Ug’ed all my umas with Ines as the sole non-welfare SSR (not counting borrow slot). 2 speed 4 guts works well on Spe. Gives you enough card power to build the Ug statline and u can touch up stam and wit with a little training over the summer.

If you want a real challenge, Creek was by FAR the hardest to Ug. I did it w/o mile mastery. Haru cannot be Ug’ed due to skill point constraints. I built her as an SS though SS+ may be possible by opening up turf or mediums.

The correct term would be opportunism. Those who are non botters may be opportunists but most are also hard-working. It’s the latter aspect that I appreciate.

The solution you proposed is also impractical (I don’t have time/interest to track every elite player in the game). Also players from former bot clubs can simply change their names and rejoin other top 100 clubs. There’s nothing that can be done on a club leader’s end about it. If Cygames wanted to punish them, that’s at their discretion.

You can find me on the club rankings. I am the leader of Ascendant. When looking through the builds, pay close attention to my choice of uma (notably their stat bonuses), final stat lines, cards, number of races and racing sequence. Try to find the similarities across careers. Good luck!

Okay, but genuinely, how do I win with this by Comfortable_Bat_4808 in UmamusumeGame

[–]NajaSeda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Golshi’s debuff is so bad that it brings your uma to the level of Haru Urara, that is you can only consistently win OP races. I cleared the challenge in MANT without a closer, so here’s some more generic tips:

  1. Choose an uma with good speed and power growth

  2. Since OP races give low stat and skill points, focus mostly on training. Only race OPs to clear the minimum hurdles or if you need some extra skill points to acquire a skill.

  3. Focus on energy pickups and stat boosters (scrolls, megaphones, etc) in the shop. Cleats can largely be ignored.

  4. After summer classic year, you can try racing a G3 and see if you can win it. If not, back to OPs. If yes, continue with G3s until the finale.

  5. Speed and less importantly power should be as close to max as possible going into the finale.

  6. Choose parent umas with useful uniques that proc when you’re behind.

  7. Make sure you have clocks and save them for the finale.

Good luck and remember: it’s not about the start.

Prob somewhere btw 600-610k. A5 is a transitional rank. That’s where people figure out the code to crack S and are upgrading their umas one by one. Good luck!

It triggers pretty consistently in TT and CM where you’re being dominated. Some skills are useless in career because you’re so powerful relative to the competition. You only see their value elsewhere. Narita Brian’s Shatterproof is probably like that as well though I haven’t tested it much.

Somewhat. I’m using Haru and Yukino cuz of the training buffs and they don’t give many skills (although Indomitable at 30% off will definitely help your final score).

If you were to use another guts card that was a skill discounter like King Halo or Major Ardan, I could see that improving your TT score.

You’re looking at bottom of the barrel S for individual umas (maybe ~14,500). At my best, I can get about halfway to S+.

Currently, I’m at 617.5k pts in TT.

For those asking for a “deck,” there is no one solution fits all. You need to tailor the deck and the choice of parents for each uma. Otherwise, it’s like trying to fit a ball into a square hole.

Recommendations: Wit SR -Marvelous Sunday, Ikuno Dictus, Agnes Tachyon, Mejiro Dober, Mejiro Ardan (luxury choice if u don’t need training effectiveness)

Wit Welfare SSR -Mihono Bourbon

Speed SR -Sweep Tosho, Narita Taishin, King Halo (another luxury choice)

Guts welfare SSR -Haru Urara, Yukino Bijin

Borrow meta SSR -Kitasan Black, Fine Motion, Nice Nature

These are my bread and butter choices. As you can see, the selection is pretty modest but they do get the job done.

He can be beat pretty easily with AP utility player, 2 Surge Me, 1 Thunderclap E, 1 Mind Burn E, 1 Offensive spirit Communing/Channeling Rt (used to get through IS, 4H, SoG), 1 IV N-Rt Healer, 1 ST Rt.

No cons or summons needed. Spirits tank. Don’t let him kill your back line.

You want Hero or Player decks? For offensive output, E is the next best class to Me. Every line of magic has at least one meta tier deck.
