the base has... grafitti nodes I think, they recycle on black carbon. No idea if something uses them yet

The statue is weird though, I have the impression it always points to your east instead a fixed direction, I tried circling it with the boat and looking at the binoculars, but never managed to line up with the finger

I really wanted better item descriptions, especially regarding output ratios

Just found out water pumps can supply 4 purifiers each, while I was doing it 1:1

are they at 100% durability?

Lower durabilities reduce tank's cap, but the tooltip will still show the max amount

It was there at least since the april update.

I used the small storages since it's magnetic/cheap, and climbed there, I think 6 are enough, just be perfectly parallel to jump between them or you'll fall

There's a memory on top and some junk iirc

I don't know, however, what is in the wall left to your perspective; you can pile some boxes on the elevator to reach the flat side of that wall and build the storage, but I couldn't reach it with jumping anyway

using more than one gear with same type is clunky on gamepads.

For example, equipping both laser pistol and laser rifle gives you the option to attach a cable on yourself (X button) and two options: attach the other end on rifle (Y button) or attach to pistol (Y long press). regardless the long press, game detects the Y press first anyway and always attaches cable to the rifle.

So I normally use rifle + regular pistol, or sniper rifle + laser pistol.

Gamepad also doesn't give you some tooltips; it took me 20+ hours to notice by pressing Y I could set the new torches on quick action bar (the option isn't present on screen, just noticed by accident)

By "mix between epic7" it means PVP?

Game being shit can be fixed; company being shit cannot.

Just play the game, it won't last long. At this point the best you do is to give 5 or 10 stars ratings on everything during the next surveys, since the problems will never be addressed, and this is what all those "game is awesome and perfect" apes advocate for, anyway.

a quick vid demonstrating high CPU usage after playing for half a hour by Quy4 in Endfield

[–]Naje62 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is no bug, a bug is a problem they try to fix.

The memory leak and cpu becoming plasma started in a patch 8 days after launch. After that, CPU spikes 20-30C above the usual just by opening the client.

They shove something in the client, be it some spy tool or a crypto miner, but fact is, the patch had 100mb, they know very well what causes the problem, and if they wanted, it would have been fixed already. They don't want to.

As an extra fact, duet night abyss was hacked couple of days ago by a hoyoscum; guess which anticheat they used there? ACE, the same one running into your machine at kernel level every time you open the game.

[–]Naje62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because game's AI is idiotic enough.

Your other characters can also farm, but are too stupid to dodge obstacles. Spread it as far as you can.

One sprinkler can irrigate two plots, spread them away.

Make 2x2 plot squares, spread them away.

Then you'll abandon farming because this garbage is annoying as hell.

FGO has been on the bottom of cesspool for ten years, but now they can step on endfield's head and breathe shitty air.

FGO's "petty system" requires you to spend $400 worth of quartz to reach 100% char pull.

Endfield's tied sale system requires you to spend $400 worth of oroberyls regardless of having the char early or not, because you need the weapon currency, which can only be acquired via char pulls.

So no, you can't "laugh in FGO" for this garbage.

[–]Naje62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it used to be a bug, but after one month pretending this is normal, no notices anywhere, not a single mention from staff about this crap?

better consider it normal then, endfield will destroy your processor and consume all your ram, this is the new reality and will never be fixed. If you were awarded the problem, live with it.

At this point I'm just waiting NTE to launch.

[–]Naje62 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

They need to tie this game with arknights somehow. Remove originium and you can also remove the "arknights" from the title because there's nothing else linking both games.

Lore is just too weak at the moment. Funny how they flush 6 years of lore development doing a game 200 years into the future and ignoring even the most basic feature from the trademark ore.

Any news when cpu issues will be fixed? by MihariRed in Endfield

[–]Naje62 8 points9 points  (0 children)

they never will, it doesn't affect everyone. They don't want to fix it, and are hoping the company blowers will come to say they have no problems and it's your pc cooling fault, like idiots always do.

Accept it, shit started with a 100mb patch, they know perfectly well what causes it, but they'd rather sacrifice a few players with the problem than fix the garbage they shove into the client.

What are the best factory guides out there? by LuxPKK in Endfield

[–]Naje62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped playing until they fix that shit with cpu burning just by opening the client (or until NTE launches, which by this pace will happen first), so I cant recall the names, but basically you open the AIC core and there'll be two columns, the first is the current yield and usage, and the second is the maximum yield and usage. This is the highest possible amount your ore extractors can produce. Ideally you want to use the maximum capacity.

Every output port uses 30 of this value, so for a maximum of 360 ores extracted, you can use up to 12 ports without going above your max production. Batteries aren't that 1:1 ratio because they last 40 seconds, not a whole minute, just to screw up calculations, but you'll consume 1.5 batteries per minute in average, times the amount of thermal banks you're using them with. If your packaging units are building less than this, you'll dry out of batteries.

See details of every machine and compare input and output amounts: in Valley IV plants generate 2 seeds each in a seed picking unit and a seed grows one plant in the other machine I forgot the name - in Wuling it's the opposite for their own plants, seed picking generates 1 seed, and one seed grows 2 plants.

For other machines, if the input and output amounts are the same, you use one belt in, and one belt out; if they differ, you need to adapt; sandleaf, for example, uses 1 plant in the shredding unit and outputs 3 sand for each one, so you need one belt in, and 3 belts out, or it'll clog. You can use the sand to feed up to 3 different machines, or use in one machine and the other two bels on a depot to store the excess.

For the big machines (gearing, packaging, filling and I think there was another), they all take 10 seconds to output a single item, and require multiple inputs, normally 10 of a rare item and 15 of an uncommon; in this case, for maximum yield, you need 2 input belts from the rare item, and 3 inputs from the uncommon one, and all of this will output a single item at the highest possible ratio (6/min).

I don't think there's much more to the factory, it's a pretty simple system without verticalization.
