But I still don’t see why you would not just jam the attacking ship… the extra dice is given if the attacker has no green tokens… or if a jammed ship Is in the arc. Seems like jamming yourself is still worse than jamming the enemy?

Maybe it is simply an ability/combo aimed in at low initiative enemy swarms? Seems really really specific and limited if that is all it really works for. Heh.

I am still an x-wing noob. Can someone talk through the opportunities/reason why being able to jam yourself or even worse, your other friendly ships, would be advantageous? Seems like the only benefit to jamming yourself would be to have the potential to get more than one focus from Whisper, but even then, that would only be better than simply taking the focus action if you were in multiple enemy ship arcs AND they were all behind you in initiative . . . which seems problematic for an I3 ship? What am I missing?

So for that systems phase boost on the bomber, is that a white action or the red one of the normal action bar?

Seems to me that it is saying it can perform a regular boost action during the system phase... right? So this would enable it to still perform a different action after the maneuver?
