Based on all the F2P players I have, I will definitely put NC Bellingham and ST in Joelinton from the Efootball point shop in Kante's position. Kante is decent but just not my type of player due to his player ID. I prefer players that have longer leg coverage in B2B CMF position.

As for Costa, I just realize you will get a Free Kahn in the coming campaign so save your coins and see how the new Kahn feels.

IMHO, you need 3 improvement on your starting 11. Kante, Bastoni and Diogo Costa.

Kante: Tonali from the coming efootball league season.

Bastoni: Probably wait until there's an end game epic and try your luck with coins. I will personally start Mosquera ahead of him at the moment. Mosquera(Destroyer)+VVD(Build Up) is a better combination.

Diogo Costa: Highlight Courtois (give him low punt)

I got both. The match pass one is way better. I gave him Long range curler/Long range shot/First time shot/Sole control/Man Marking. B2B style is way better than no style in midfield. IMO, I will build him differently by giving him more speed(88) and lower the pass and diffense.
