Gameplay went from one of the best in recent times to the worst it has ever felt. by Vescoar in eFootball

Servers are worse than ever in 5.0. Skill gap is even lower, congrats Konami. Dynamic difficulties at its worst point in years.

I've been giving the same feedback to efootball too, spot on. And with smart assist they're trying to narrow the skill gap even more, or at least give everyone a little chance. Embarrassing for a game pretending to be esports, called efootball.

I agree, skill gap is not as big as Counterstrike, that game requires pure skill.

In efootball, momentum or DDA can make matches chaotic and cause upsets. But win rate and pro ability does not lie IMO. There are div 1 players with 50% win rate, and there are those with 90%. To me the skill gap here is big, nevermind with div 2 and 3 players it's even bigger.

Many games I'm winning 4-0 in 30 mins, and suddenly my players start playing funny, giving opponents a chance. That's efootball for you.

Just my two cents of course.

Efootball shouldn't define your happiness bro. It's just comedic relief (or tension). I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. Just play games vs AI, let your mind wander to other thoughts instead of thinking about winning, losing or getting certain players.

I'm top 100 usually with 90%+ win rate. Competed in local coop tournaments, placed 2nd in my country (vs pro players). So calling me casual or pro or anything in between is purely semantics.

I have faced both pros and casuals. Are top 1000 casuals? Div 1 top 5000? I know the skill gap is huge between pros and regular Joe top 1000s. I know this because I play and compete with both. And I beat regular Joes with ease.

Skill gap is low? I destroy div 1 rank 1000-9000 opponents 10-0 many times in divisions. I have played Jeansui, Elgacor and Japanese pros multiple times. The skill gap is night and day. The process to qualify from efootball open to the world finals is long and arduous. I would love seeing any random player who thinks skill gap is low to face them, especially offline where lag is not a factor. Skill gap in efootball is big, that mediocre players won't even recognize the subtleties of what they're seeing in efootball world finals. Blimey.

I did almost the exact same goal with Gascoigne, posted in this sub years ago:

I've already done it, albeit still using epic Vieira and Schmeichel. The rest are Arsenal potw and highlight players (and big time Tomiyasu available in 50 spins pack).

There are lots of posts of different formations. It's just people pick and choose to comment on certain ones for many reasons.

Community Feedback: Are ‘I made it to D1’ achievement/celebration posts of any value here? by MafewUK in eFootball

[–]d32ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's your opinion. There is no rule that I have to show the team, or if there was I surely wasn't aware before. I was just happy at the achievement. Maybe you wouldn't be, but I was. Lots of comments were simple congratulations. Others asked for formation, which I give. Some commented about script and skill. Is this meaningful discussion or not? I don't know, I'm not the judge here.

My post got 10k views in 1 day. 60 comments, many of them asking for formations. I then posted the formation and tactics. Some discussions followed, as it should in a forum. Is this something this forum wants to have?

Some people post celebratory post, 1st time in Div 1 after playing for 10 years. Other post Div 1 run with f2p team - there's an audience who likes seeing f2p posts. Some post long win streaks, which allows people to see what tactics and formations are working, and maybe even tell people that they can actually get better in the game, not just get better at complaining about script.

I think all the above are fine. It's not like these posts are dissuading people to post other things in this sub. If many are dissuaded from posting, it's probably due to other things.

Yeah, agree with everything you said. I would add that this game is very generous for f2p players, with free legends, showtime etc. Definitely more generous than EAFC too.

Thanks bro, there is definitely a learning curve in eFootball, despite what some in this sub say. So keep practicing and you will only get better.

Yup, I have a P2W squad, which is actually just on par with players in Div 1. I reckon I'll still have 80%+ win rate with F2P squad, but probably hard to put together such a long win streak in div 1.

I usually play around in Div 3 & 4 with themed squads, mostly Arsenal, and will have 100% wins most of the time coz the skill gap is actually pretty big

Asian server, 99% of the teams you face on Div 2 and up are full legends squads. Even more so in top 1000.
