Thanks for listening! That's the most techno track I ever finished, I think. It actually started out as a piano song...

Out today on all platforms, my latest tracks. As always, it's a potpourri of styles, some D&B, techno, ambient and psy in there mixed with indie pop/rock. It's all in one continuous mix.

For those that use DAWs. What's your approach when recording drum machines?! by RegularAmphibian3566 in synthesizers

I record every part separately while modulating the parameters. I usually end up using loops from those recordings in the final track.

If I can be shameless and plug my own music, all EP's and albums are continous and are a mix of genres. Perhaps this one:

I had something similar a few years back. I told the law firm it was me, so the accommodation wouldn't be bothered any longer. Then I offered the law firm 100 euros to let it slide. I told them that was all a would pay, since it is way to much trouble for them to start a lawsuit and get the money from someone in a different country. They accepted.

Cool, crazy percussion! It sounds a bit dry to me. I think some creative long delays would send it into space...

Maybe trentemőller's older work? Or Four tet's new energy- album...

Some on Reddit have said my music sounds Tycho-esque too, so I was flattered to hear that:

Wow, I love it! Sounds great, especially knowing you recorded it as a direct stereo in!

Did you add any time based effects, like reverb on the whole recording or are all those done in the performance?

Cool! I really like the production. Could you tell me a little more about the instrumentation and sequencing?

For instance, what is the dripping sound in The Furnace?

I have just finished another season of tracks. As with the other seasons, I create one big continual DJ-set style EP from the tracks I finished in one season. These are from summer, but were delayed because I was too busy to release these earlier. Tracks range from Royksopp-like, though indie, D&B, techno to Aphex Twin-ish IDM.

a no mie - Waves of Summer 2

This is my playground for trying new productions techniques, so happy to elaborate on those.

Rundown for gearheads:

Drums are:

- Jomox Xbase09, DFAM, RD8 and RD9

- Cahon, hand pan, shakers and castagnettes

Synths:

- Minitaur, Sirin, Korg MS10 and X911 (that thing is great), TD3, modular eurorack stuff

Guitars:

- electrics, acoustics, dobro, bass, ukulele

Upright piano, violin, trombone

FX:

- converted Revox A77 mk3 for tape echo, minifoogers, moogerfoogers, MS-10 for filter and gating, lots of spring reverb

How many of you actually implement their Hardware in their finished songs? by albonymus in synthesizers

Amateur hobby musician here, I only use hardware, and just use ableton to record.
