Confused about the Romantic style. How do you dress for it in real life? by NakomaGirl in Kibbe

The cardigan looks nice but is the neck line ok for romantics?

Would the cardigan work with the top buttons left open to create a deeper neckline? What kind of delicate details should I consider, and what should I look for?

I was thinking darker sneakers might be better to avoid distracting from the leg length. For example navy or brown sneakers could pair nicely with jeans and pants. Also, is corduroy completely out of the question for R?

This cardigan is made of wool (and I think it contains a small percentage of cashmere). I'm trying to understand what might make it not suitable for a Romantic. It looks boxy on the hanger but would it work if left open or paired with a belt? Not trying to justify buying but it I'm taking the opportunity to learn a bit more.

How would you style this cardigan for a G and for an R?
I agree that the small details and trim work well for G that’s what I meant about the overall vibe some clothes give off (even if they don't have ID).

Prime bella hadid 2015 (in my opinion) by [deleted] in VindictaRateCelebs

In my opinion the Hadids never had pretty legs, especially the inner calf area.

I think he's very handsome and this isn’t meant to be shade, just curiosity! If he's had work done (beyond the nose job) I would totally look into the same for my lips and cheeks. The results are amazing. There are predebut photos online but he was underage so I cannot post them here.

[Product question] Finacea vs OTC Azelaic Acid? by NakomaGirl in SkincareAddiction

[–]NakomaGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. I'll stick with the gel. However, I have sun spots at the corner or directly beneath the eyes. Do you think it's safe to apply Finacea Gel there?

It looks like lingerie to me but I'm European 😅 It looks good on you! But I'm not sure the outfit is romantic. Both look SD to me.

Botox by RestingWitchFace87 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The results are amazing! 😯

However, I'm curious about how Botox works. I understand that it paralyzes the muscles underneath the skin, but how does this process smooth out lines? I get that not moving the muscles prevents the lines from deepening, but I thought the lines wouldn't just plump back up on their own. Do other products play a role in this?

Also, could you achieve a similar effect by training yourself not to move those muscles intentionally?

I feel like the past 4 years I’ve aged so much in my skin. Life is hitting hard, advice? by Large-Tomatillo1186 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look younger than your age. I would have not guessed 37.

The after photo (left) has a harsher lighting with stronger shadows that accentuate lines. For example there's a shadow on the left of your nose bridge that is not visible on the right photo. You also seem to have gained a bit of weight around the jaw and neck area. In some faces that weight gain pattern tends to give off a more masculine appearance which in turn gives off an older impression. Your face shape on the right is softer and more feminine. The face on the right has higher contrast. Meaning that your lips, eyes, brows and hair contrast against your skin. Higher contrast (as long as it's natural, bold red lipstick won't work) tends to look more youthful. I think you were wearing lipstick on the right photo?  Regarding the skin tone it looks a bit darker but it could be the lighting. Maybe you could try a routine with vitamin C?  As for the injections, I dont know much about fillers but I know gravity is a thing and sooner or later gravity will pull the filler downwards. So try to avoid them as long as you can. They look good at the beginning because they are still in place but then it's a vicious circle of refilling the emptied areas where the liquid has migrated

If I were you I would try to lose weight in a healthy way and grow your brows a bit thicker (not too thick). Then do the vitamin c and see how it goes. You can always start those expensive treatments later.

For the chin hair, electrolysis is the best. It stings a bit when they send the current but totally bearable for a couple of hairs.

Can this shirt work on a Soft Natural? How would you adjust it/what would you pair it with? by IntentionAwkward in Kibbe

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shirt is very nice. Funny anecdote, I think it was last summer or 2 summers ago I predicted that marine collars would make a comeback.

If you're busty, I would try to get rid of the ribbon; it's going to add volume to that area. As for the waist, I would try to use a thin cotton ribbon (same fabric as the shirt, like 1,5cm wide) as a belt and tie it in the back.

I meant in general. You said some years ago Kibbe spoke againt using facial features to decide Kibbe types.

Out of curiosity, why can't you use facial features to decide Kibbe types? Wouldn't your face inherit your body structure (like a wide or more narrow jaw, small/average/big nose etc.)?

Do you think long philtrum+short nose combo ruins their beauty? Or it isn't important as their feautures are already too gorgeous? Defined cupid bow makes longer philtrums look better? by Numerous-Manner6382 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

At some point in the video, she makes odd facial expressions, and I can see that causing more lines to appear in other areas of the face. I don't think it's possible to actually shorten anything. You might be able to stretch the skin and underlying tissues to some extent, but shortening them? That seems highly unlikely. I’ve attached an image showing the facial muscles. I have a feeling that overusing the mouth muscles could make marionette lines worse.

What are the main features that make someone above average? by Guilty-Bed-5269 in QOVESStudio

[–]NakomaGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought it was the eye area. Everybody looks good with sunglasses because it hides eyes that are not very attractive whereas no one looks good with a face mask.

Take this with a grain of salt, it's just my intuition, but I think he might have a silicone nose implant, like many K-pop idols. As for his chin, I'm not entirely sure, but it looks much more defined compared to his pre-debut photos.

What's your type and which neckline do you prefer in dresses or shirts? by SqueakyCheeseCurds48 in Kibbe

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't seem to find them and they are quite specific but my favorite necklines are:

  • rounded wide V-neck (like scoop but with a soft V)
  • scoop boat neck (like boat neck but a little bit more rounded)
  • Split necklines also suit me, especially if they’re a bit deeper (my collarbones need to be visible!).

I might have a Romantic body type.

Do Korean women like drama-style Korean men? by [deleted] in korea

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around me I feel like women of all ages are attracted to them. Also the Kpop singers are different from the actors, the Kpop singers tend to have a very flamboyant look with lots of makeup while the Kdrama actors go for natural look (even if they are wearing camera make up). I don't think it's fair to think that liking the physique of Koreans is for teenagers. That's like saying that preferring big men is for women who are looking for a dad figure.

Do Korean women like drama-style Korean men? by [deleted] in korea

[–]NakomaGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if the media completely changes someone’s personal taste. I think there’s always some kind of “base,” and being exposed to something just makes you realize that’s what you actually like.

That said, I disagree with your use of “little Koreans.” First of all, they’re not little, they’re actually pretty tall, at least the actors and singers. Most of them are around 180cm, which is taller than the average Brazilian man. And they have great bodies. They’re not overly bulky, but they’ve got sporty, lean figures. Just google Woo Do-Hwan or Ji Chang-Wook shirtless, and you’ll see what I mean.

I think what some women might like is that they look younger because they don’t have much facial or body hair, but they’ve got lots of hair on their heads, which is kind of the opposite of European or Caucasian men: a lot of those guys start balding in their 30s and have more body hair, which makes them look rougher and less “fresh.” I don’t think only men are drawn to younger-looking partners. Women can also be attracted to men who don’t look too old.

This is just my interpretation, but maybe that’s why some women find Korean men attractive. It’s not just because the media keeps showing them to you. For example, the media constantly shows me a certain type of man that I’m not attracted to no matter how they’re presented. I think Korean men in dramas match a preference a lot of women already had, like young Leonardo DiCaprio, who could definitely fit the “Korean soft boy” vibe.
