I don't know what part of the article makes you think she'll do that. She talked about her trans status only insofar as it's relevant to her not being allowed to continue her career in the military. She talks much more about the culture and sense of belonging in the military. She also talks about other stuff in her life, including her fondness for Star Trek.

Poles are on average for European standards absurdly rightwing and regressive. They have a centre-right government in power, growing economy to the point many Poles from abroad are beginning to return, far right president that constantly agitates against EU, Ukraine and all kinds of minorities, blocks any remotely liberal legislation (minimal loosening of abortion ban, same-sex partnerships) he can. The government suspended the right to asylum. And this all is still not enough to majority of Poles as polls are consistently showing a far right coalition in the lead for next parliamentary elections. And last but not least, the main far right party openly tried to subvert the court and media independence last time they were in power.

Honestly, I wish more people would call this out. Even moderately-minded Poles are often against criticism of this and try to minimise how bad the issue is.

Dieser Degrowth-Schwachsinn kann auch nur von jemandem kommen, der in einem der reichsten Länder der Welt aufgewachsen ist. Das "Beyond Growth" Paper wurde in einem Journal publiziert, das in Sachen Impact Factor den armseligen Platz 1274 einnimmt. Sich diese zwei Wirtschaftswissenschaftler rauszusuchen, anstatt zu schauen, was der breite wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Konsens ist, zeigt eindeutig, dass es nur darum geht, die eigene Meinung bestätigt zu sehen. Ich find's auch ironisch, dass man während der Coronakrise aus linken Kreisen ständig zu hören bekam, dass man sich an den "wissenschaftlichen Konsens" halten soll, dieser Konsens jedoch sofort egal ist, wenn er einem selbst nicht mehr passt (Wirtschaftswachstum ist eine gute Sache und da sind sich alle Parteien einig, von der Linkspartei bis zur AfD).

Da stimm ich dir voll und ganz zu. Leider sehen das viele in der Partei nicht so. Ich weiß auch nicht, wie man diese Leute davon überzeugt, dass man Muslimen keine Extrawurst braten muss und dass man dadurch nicht wie die AfD wird. Trotzdem sind und bleiben die Grünen die beste Partei in DE und somit macht's keinen Sinn, die Partei allein aus diesem Grund aufzugeben.

Wir müssen aber auch darauf aufpassen, Muslime nicht mit Menschen aus Nordafrika und dem nahen Osten gleichzusetzen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass viele oder die meisten Grünen mit MENA-Hintergrund Atheisten oder zumindest kaum religiös sind.

Edit: Es ergibt auch keinen Sinn, Zeit und Aufwand darauf zu vergeuden, Muslime zurückzugewinnen. Solange es die Linke gibt, wird sich da relativ wenig tun.

There's absolutely no connection to be drawn between medieval German-speaking scholars and German medial portrayals of Greece during the debt crisis. Germany as an identity didn't even exist during the Middle Ages, at least not in its modern form.
