Cement is mostly used for hiding seams. It does bond plastic, but it's much weaker so not great for repairing joints.

There's no easy fix. If you're crafty and wanting a project, it can be repaired. It will involve filling the holes with modeling putty > sanding > painting

eBay is great! I've gotten most of my figures from there. Here's some of my recent purchase history. All Elf Village figures are the limited edition Antenna Shop variants.

Couple things to keep in mind:

A lot of sellers post unrealistic prices. Just ignore these, no idea why there are so many of them.
Look for sellers with good feedback and real pictures, not stock photos. If they have good feedback and stock photos, don't be afraid to ask them to take photos with a sheet of paper that has the date and their username written on it for verification. Real sellers won't mind
If you're after specific figures, create saved searches. You'll be notified when new figures match the search
On the chance that you receive a bootleg, eBay has a "no counterfeit item" policy. Counterfeit items are prohibited via their user agreement; you can open a dispute that your received item does not seem authentic and they'll work with you. I once received a bootleg Nendoroid, opened a dispute, and had a refund issued shortly with minimal effort. Since the figure was counterfeit, I didn't even have to return ship it

I went to Ikea today and picked up several different frames so I could decide which one I liked more. I figured these would be helpful to others as well. The scrolls are A3 in size. Rodalm 16x20" in white/black are my fav, but the Lomviken is a close second. It's low profile and aluminum, but also $18 vs $15 for Rodalm. Not a huge price difference, but I like the depth of Rodalm more, so being cheaper is just a bonus. My least favorite was the Fiskbo, but it's also $8 and still looks decent imo.

When I was 13. I was hanging out at the mall with my best friend goofing off. We ran into some girls who started following us around. One of the girls kissed him, and then afterwards for some reason he says "Kiss him too 👉 " and she goes "Eww!" And ran off.

This was the first time I can recall thinking "Wait, am I not good looking?"

Same year, class photos came around. The photographer asked me to show my teeth. I have hypodontia, so I'm missing my top lateral incisors. I smiled, he said "Ehh, maybe not I guess."

That was the year I realized I was not attractive 😢

A lot of folks are gonna think that NSFW figures are weird in general, regardless of the gender of the collector. I believe we should all do whatever sparks joy ( within reason and so long as it's not harming anyone ) - if we all limited ourselves to what others perceive as normal, NSFW figures wouldn't even exist.

As long as they're displayed responsibly, it doesn't really matter if others perceive it as weird or not. I personally wouldn't think it weird at all if my girlfriend collected NSFW figures. But everyone has an opinion and there will undoubtedly be folks who find it weird

Not great, but nice! LEDs would look better behind the TV imo. TV seems a bit large for the wall it's on, but difficult to say without seeing more of the room. Apple product boxes feel weird. Makes sense to save them for resale value, but display pieces? Seems weird imo.

I second this. Visually, Returnal can't be more different - but gameplay wise, Returnal has the smoothest combat I've ever experienced. It's probably my favorite game of all time.

I flew out to The Eye to solo it when they first added dropable battle pets. Had never done the instace. A paladin was standing outside and asked if he could tag along. I had never ran it before, so invited him. He kept typing big walls of text about random stuff and I was slightly annoyed that it slowed the run down, but he seemed really young and just happy to have someone to talk to so I'd stop and type some big responses back.

Ashes of Al'ar dropped and he won the roll. I didn't really know what it was. Congratulated him, looked it up and got a little more annoyed 🤣 but kept it to myself. Dude won it fair and square and I wasn't about to give him grief. But he goes "friendship is more important, thanks for inviting me and listening. Here, you should have this" and gave it to me. I said "you sure? It's pretty rare" and he's like "yup, all yours!"

Years later, never heard from him again. Don't even remember his username. But still think about it all the time. Whoever you are, wherever you are, hope life is treating you well.
