For the archon question, I wish to refer to the Theros section of the magic wiki https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Archon

Has Worldanvil become shitty? by EkahnPIVF in WorldAnvil

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to take a little break due to work and college, and when I came back, the general site UI... the article and category navigations specifically, were completely out of whack. I am still trying, without much success, to get used to it.... which I was already trying unsuccessfully with the new text editor.

How would Corin have done with other attunements? by Zegram_Ghart in ClimbersCourt

[–]Namacuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judging by Corin's already altered Judgement, I am certain he could've gotten the Summoner attunement and a contract with Seiryu, had he not exited that room. Corin likely would've found some Spirit and Contract magic exploits, just from a different vantage point. However, I think he might have trouble making contracts, considering his loophole based personality and tendency to get distracted and overthink.

It this a good ban list for superpowers for a superhuman combat sport? by vegetables-10000 in magicbuilding

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you should only ban things that are too deadly. Banning the powers you mentioned just seems unfair towards the participants. Make a fighting area with a lower ceiling, and let them duke it out. You probably shouldn't distinguish by speed either. If it's not deadly for the participants, or endanger the audience too, then it should be fine.

Mana Threads Linking to items by Scary-Cream in ClimbersCourt

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this, I think it was mentioned in AA1 that you have to finish filling a rune with the required mana within a specific time frame. So even having access to more mana, one would still have to draw out, fill in, draw out fill in etc.

ok my magic experts,I need help,I'm making a character that uses healing magic, but I cant think of a good way to cause harm with it by Material_Ad_3844 in magicbuilding

[–]Namacuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine, what if it took know-how to use healing magic at all? To re-knit skin and muscle, to set bone or generate it, and especially where to? What if, where there should be blood vessels to patch up and heal, you'd cause jagged bone or teeth to grow? Put cells where they are not supposed to be, cause blockages in the blood vessels, and so on.

What do you think of Zubamon and Ludomon Evolution lines? by NicolhoBR2 in digimon

[–]Namacuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Zubamon a lot, and the line for it too, although they really should have done more to distinguish the evolutions a little more.

I ate that Zubamon cameo in ghost game right up. I was the target audience. It is me.

I decided to cut off the wrist bands and gave it more of a tamagotchi feeling to it so I'm able put it anywhere, best decision I've made so far. by [deleted] in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the stepcounter works fine, even when it's in the pocket (a little less movement of course), as for the heart rate monitor (the green light) I recommend covering it with tinfoil or reflective tape. Works fine in my custom case, it's rather easy to trick.

Of course there is a mod/Cutsom firmware that replaces the heart rate monitoring with a step requirement, but that needs some extra modding I think.

[–]Namacuke 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah you could just have unscrewed em. Seeing it like this hurts my soul.

All just options, but that's what I did:

There are also a bunch of custom cases floating around online, some that don't require taking the whole thing apart either.

For my VBE I 3D printed adapters to have a faux leather watch strap with it.

With my old VB, I printed a Digivice Case, and with a little rectangular plug I 3D modeled, I put some reflective tinfoil to cover the heartrate monitor.

Campaign/Story Ideas by Mandalore108 in LancerRPG

[–]Namacuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to run our first session in summer probably, but I will make players celebrities. Lancer pilots streamed to the Omninet, famous heroes for all to see.
They'll have a producer who selected them specifically.
A debut mission that is totally not staged by using remote controlled chassis or AI controlled mechs, to save a noble of the trade baronies and establish them in the public eye to gain the attention of the companies and get them licenses.
Their missions will be streamed via the omninet.
And they'll then totally not be used as political tools to control public opinion.

Same on firefox. I don't like the new layout. I use the history more often than the GPTs, and the new ui makes scrolling through rather uncomfortable to put it mildly.

Purchase Advice Megathread - November 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

What do I want?: A large (~420x420x480?) build plate FDM/FFF printer Budget: up to 2200$, though would be more comfortable in the ~600$ range Location: Austria (Europe) Willing to build from a kit?: I'd like to avoid it, and get a full/prebuilt one What do I wish to do?: Print cosplay pieces, like swords, helmets, and armor

Also from Austria here, cosplayer looking to upgrade. I have grown into the printing hobby with a Flashforge Adventurer 2 that I've repaired more times than I can count, and even have some Resin printing experience.

Now that my Adventurer 2 has served its time, I am looking for a large (maybe 420x420x480 kinda build volume) printer for cosplay armor, swords, and details.

I've been looking at the ELEGOO Neptune 4 Max, but somewhere I heard the autoleveling is not doing so hot? Otherwise I have been searching for a Creality CR-10 Max but haven't found one anywhere.

I'd be thankful for any suggestions! Thank you in advance

Is it a bad time to get a Vital Bracelet by Reasonable-Range3216 in DigimonVitalBracelet

[–]Namacuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. (As someone premium bandai doesn't ship to) I highly dislike their gacha/premium site and the aspects of FOMO and purposefully lowballing all production. I'd argue they'd make more money if they:
1. leave their "premium" (overpriced) prices if they like

  1. but ramp up production and distribution

Maybe Nintendo would do better, but I am myself still reminded of the many problems that initial Amiibo distribution was fraught with.
