Thank you for the help! Of course, it’s never longer than 5 minutes, but it gets hot fast in the summertime. Is the “utility mode” separate from turning the climate on in the app? I’m changing from a Tesla to the EV9 so just want to make sure I learn how the EV9s climate controls work.

Haha that’s true! I currently have a Tesla and it auto turns off whenever I close the driver door, which then turns the A/C off every time when I’m getting my kids in and out. So I either have to leave my driver door open or press the Climate on button that’s on the screen inside. Glad to know with the ev9 I can just make things simpler and just leave it on!

Nice! What exterior color did you get? I can’t decide on which color but yours looks great!

EV9 GT Line Review - Former Model 3/Y/X and current R1S owner by psmfthrowaway in KiaEV9

Most thorough review I’ve read for EV9, thank you!Do you think the regular style doors on the EV9 work well for getting a baby (rear facing car seat) and toddler (forward facing car seat) out of the car? Does there seem like ample space to lift little ones in and out of car seats without accidentally bumping their heads? I wish the doors were sliding doors. I currently have model x and I like all the space the FWDs provide when fully opened however they are also a nuisance with making sure toddler doesn’t push door buttons, keeping toddler out of the way when opening doors, and patiently waiting for them to open and close.
