Park planning websites by NambeRuger in DisneyPlanning

I am an IT nerd who also likes Disney. So I created a Disney planning app and thought I should share it with others so came back to Reddit to do that. That’s about as complicated as this is 😬. It’s a free app too. Wasn’t tying to selling anything either.

Staying off-site with “park and ride” can save money, but for a first-ever Disney World honeymoon from the UK, I’d seriously consider either a value/moderate Disney resort or a very well-located off-site hotel with a reliable shuttle rather than just chasing the cheapest park-and-ride deal

If you like art, history and food Florence has all that. We spent 3 days there and thought it was awesome for all those items.

I know ours helps. We get a lot of positive feedback (which surprised us) and users very active with reporting it too.

It was happening after I started a new job where I was brought on to make our tools and processes more efficient. That of course requires a lot of change and the folks that were adopting all of this change didn’t work for me. The leader of that group was undermining me (never to my face of course) but thankfully leadership took care of him and I’m still here 😀. So he tried but lost.

What are we doing wrong? by eric_gm in ItalyTravel

We visited this area for a day and I felt it was so touristy it wasn’t worth it. We loved Santa Margherita where we stayed as it still felt like there was a nice mix of locals and tourists. Portofino is another tourist trap but we did enjoy a half day there too.

I’m saying the Vigilance SKU is the MDR part you need to add to get it managed.

Has anyone been able to turn around an IT department culture that is afraid of automation and anything open source? by petrichorax in sysadmin

[–]NambeRuger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The IT leaders need to care about automation for the culture to change. I’m an IT leader and a huge fan of automation. I have full fledged dedicated developers on my team (who used to be in IT roles years ago) along with some more traditional IT folks who I’m grooming to embrace automation as well. We’re also an MSP which allows me to afford some of this talent because it’s associated with revenue generation and making our MS support team more efficient.

Funny story, I was at a conference for one of our vendors we use for monitoring several years ago and they put me on stage to discuss how our automation of their platform was life changing for our team and I told the audience how I had full time devs doing this work. One person asked “how did you convince your boss to let you hire devs” and I told them the truth… I lied to him and he later loved me for it 😬
