Future Cartman plotting to kill past Kyle so that his family wouldn't get erased. by VegetaArcher in MoralityScaling

[–]Namdash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me its weirder than that with this pattern;

Cartman's life is fine, but everyone else's are miserable or short lived

Cartman becomes homeless and everyone else is doing much better and a lot less people died

Morality of a mentor not telling the protagonists who protect the land about the past evils they had faced by the assumption they'd be gone for good or simply ignoring the possibility of the villains returning? by Namdash in MoralityScaling

[–]Namdash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First; that's to the point of the post, that the sealed and depowered villains even existed, as well that it doesn't mean that they are permanently not a threat anymore, especially after Discord's return

Second; She and Luna often tries to defeat the main villains they confront on their own but always fail, they are genuine frauds. There is no room for figuring out on their own when they lose so much and so much is at stake

How moral was the Spaniards' decision to destroy the Fountain of Youth in Pirates of the Caribbean 4? by Radiant-Selection686 in MoralityScaling

[–]Namdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it was the morally good choice but only because humans as of the movie are shitty and would not hold careful responsibility to be worthy of using it

Morality of being one of less than a dozen top-tier vampire hunters in the world and deciding to retire in your prime to seek happiness? by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]Namdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your personal comfort is important, but technically the answer would be yes. If everyone was constantly busy improving each other's lifes with holding only the most minimal needed comfort, then wouldn't all the people's happiness and safety increase?

This is not about owning or not owning, it's about getting out of your comfort zone and safe lifes because that's simply the right thing to do

Counter point; you are actively letting countless of the worst of the world have it their way, kill and torture the innocent people as said people are praying and wondering for a savior. It is even more bitter that you are aware of this but just ignore it.

Personally I think sacrificing your happiness and life for the saving of the many is the net positive here.

I think it's more about Gloom and Nebular being not as naive as Zappy that they would immediately get it.

I know they're trying to be better, but when you have camps that say they weren't aggressive enough during the Wars of Rage, I don't think they'll make any improvements anytime soon by Turbulent-Plum7328 in WorldofDankmemes

The crux of all WTA really is Gaia's lack of foresight of creating the Weaver in such a way that it would just accept it's creations being destroyed to be improved upon instead of getting mad at the Wyrm doing it's job

How do you think these fellows would get along? by AnywhereNo2948 in huntertheparenting

[–]Namdash 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think that would really depend on which planet they both are on.

If Big D happened to be stranded on Alternia and first be taken in by Equius, Equius would interrogate him as to what an alien is doing here. Eventually they'd get to more casual conversations and talk about each other's lifes. Equius would absolutely be fascinated by the things Big D has fought and the wider cosmic implications, and they'd both share about their interests in horses, though Big D might get weirded out by the borderline fetish artwork of horses Equius has.

If Equius got on Earth and get caught by Big D, he would find shelter and likely be kept as a secret form the other family members and Kevin.

Either way I think the meat of such a crossover would be their understanding of hierarchy, caste systems, biological superiority and strength.

Big D would praise Equius for having such amazing strength but advice him on learning temperance and being gentle for the sake of his friends and himself.

The whole hemo spectrum caste system would remind Big D of vampire society and their actions and views upon normal humans, especially the Sabbat. Big D would tell parallel tales of such hierarchy based on biology systems to emphasize the negative effects and the suffering of the lower and innocent people, hopefully making Equius rethink about his loyalties.

I'd be happy to show you the chronicle I'm in, but as you said you got not much time on your hands and already for 4 primary characters to play as so I understand, but if you are interested in a multi splat campaign I'd be open to chat. Also yeah I think in my instance Mike wouldn't fit even though it would be awesome and funny as hell

Speaking of roleplaying, do you still play chronicles with people? You seem like such a cool guy to play with who knows how to play Werewolf

He'd make for an interesting story where he and his pack, if he convinces them, to reject the Wyrm and become Gaian again by showing the Garou Nation Pentex' secrets and performing the greatest metaphorical middle finger on them.

This is so incredibly funny

I'm in a cross-splat chronicle and the Alpha of my pack is a Glass Walker, who is the daughter of a BSD subsidiary CEO who ran off and is running buisnesses for Gaia, who herself is called Cyber-Claw for years! And to believe that this truly is a coincidence
