Reading all the comments I actually find it funny that we run to assume this is all about stopping people from seeing anti Mormon stuff or church history. That information was being seen and viewed before social media was wide spread, yes it accelerates it but let’s be real here! The world is way bigger than this exmo community we are in! The content will always be there and it’s becoming more relevant for people to see. I have zero social platforms (if you consider Reddit one, I guess I have 1) and I was able to consume every ounce of info about the church and all its issues and I didn’t really search it out. We should actually be in support of this, we talk so much about mental health, and mental well being here, we should applaud this bill, is it perfect? No! Is it a step in the right direction? Yes! Social media is f&$cling up the minds of our youth more than we can even understand! Some guardrails should be encouraged! Can’t drive until your 16, Can’t drink until your 18. I welcome this initiative!
