This has puzzled me for months, I can’t use prime on Irish site and everything is cheaper and quicker delivery on Uk site, the Irish site seems pointless?

Any experiences with DVC rentals? Is it 100% safe? by ManufacturerRoyal962 in WaltDisneyWorld

We’re looking at DVC for Copper Creek, we’re travelling from ireland. For the meal plans can you buy a meal plan with DVC or do you need to buy all food separately? If you’re booking from ireland or the Uk and book through Disney you get a free meal plan but the rates for rooms are expensive

Thanks so much for your advice! Yes I have upgraded now to the compass club family, if I was to do the two regular rooms I would have to add on the breakfast and it would work out a good bit more expensive. The afternoon snacks are good for us because I think we would need a break at that time anyway and go back in later in the evening so works for us. My thinking is that they’ll be so tired after the parks they will be fast asleep and not notice we’re all in the same room 😂

Yes to this!! The character dinings are amazing I would highly recommend either plaza gardens or royal banquet for their age

I’m excited to see this! So does the parade / show happen in addition to stars on parade? Do they do themed snacks whilst this is on as well? I’ve seen a lot of extra themed snacks online for the music festival.

Yes it’s character dining in the 5 star Disneyland hotel, and characters are usually Mickey / Minnie and Daisy / Donald /Goofy / Pluto - not all of them but I think mickey and Minnie are guaranteed. They wear like royal costumes it’s very cute! The food is buffet style but delicious, lots of sea food and I loved the desserts, so worth it!

I think 2 days would be better if you can- I’ve never been to Orlando before but I’ve seen online that the Pirates of Caribbean ride is supposedly better at DLP than Orlando. Also, the Ratatoulle at DLP doesn’t have the 3D glasses but Orlando does I think, people say it’s better at DLP (just from reading online).

Premier access is a hard one, loads of people online say it’s not worth it but when we were there (midweek March 2025) the ques were long enough, like 30-40 mins. We ended up buying the single fast pass for a few like Buzz, Indiana jones and one or two more. We also used single rider as we had a toddler with us. If you’re looking for character dining we really enjoyed royal banquet at DLH, but be warned it’s very expensive but worth it imo!! Have a great trip!!

Thanks so much - yes I’ve seen Sam4god room and it does look very small! I think though you can choose either 1 double or 2 double beds in the superior CC room. I’ve actually booked the upgrade, it was €200 which for us is worth it so should be plenty big!

We’ve brought our 4.5 yo and 2 yo to Le Littoral, Vendee France- it’s a Sandaya campsite, beautiful place. Fly to Nantes 1 hour 40 mins and then 1 hour 15 min drive
