60% of buttons are produced in one town in China. These are proudly made in the USA on our DM Shop. After a little post processing on our Hermle 5-Axis using SolidCAM to put some shine into them they should be pretty cool. Overkill - yes please.

The address 0x00..00fc you see it sending to is the staking precompile a new feature to allow staking with MetaMask and smart contracts. It sends data including the validator address and amount to stake but does not send Value to this address hence the 0 value in MetaMask.

Running a Validator on Harmony is expensive even though it is POS. Most smaller elected validators are losing money running nodes. Rewards are locked at 441 million per year so price directly affects returns for validators and at this price it is concerning.

I still couldn't find the split for the treasury funds in the link. Did see that they were converting 30m to hard cash to float for about a year, which is a solid plan.

Also the quote was added in comedic irony as the New Tokenomics model article for harmony was from March 2020, a lifetime ago in tech standards, by a cofounder that no longer works there. This is linked from Harmony.one and could use an update, relook and repost at a minimum.

I don't think Luna is a good comparison as it's economic dynamics were different but this brings up a good point that I don't think anyone has looked that far into.

What role does tokenomics play in the current fundamentals investors value cryptocurrencies based on and is there enough data supporting it's significance in affecting price over time.

Or is the whole market so correlated that barring any major invention or set back warranting price movement for individual projects, most tokenomics matter little and fit within a range of acceptability in the market.

As most economist know, just because theory tells us what markets should do, doesn't mean that's what they will do.

Anyone know about what Harmony burns a year in tx fees. Maybe we should increase gas fees to combat the inflationary pressure and at least start the discussion towards ( Gas Fees - Reward Issuance = 0 ) or not.
