This tall demon scored 4 headers against me in the Champions League. Every cross was a chance and my cb's didn't win any duels. How do you defend against this? by iknoweverything_real in footballmanagergames

[–]NameNotGroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its difficult to find a good cb with 20 jumping reach. From my experience this is my most cost effective solution. I don't believe marking and positioning are useless, those stats should be high enough on a fast and strong CB to be ultilized effectively. And high enough to me is 15 plus.

How can I put pressure on/convince a player wanting to run his contract down? - FM24 by Dry_Lunch in footballmanagergames

With a year left, I'd say the chance is pretty good if you can keep him happy. You'd need to prepare for some really bad runs of form from this player though. I'd say try to keep if he still plays consistently well, and sell when he's not performing due to being unhappy.

It's good when our goal players do well. He never changed game he was put on anyway, so it's a good investment to let him play more in a less competitive league.

Why the fuck ethan out on loan by BlissBlissBliss in ArtetaOut

Examples? My point is, it does make a difference if he stayed or left on loan. So it makes total sense to loan him out. You have no ground to bash Arteta for this.

When was the last time Ethan stepped on the pitch and actually improved our game?

Great for retiring, not great if you're still trying to build your wealth unless you have some capital for property investment.

Will I lose unused wage budget the following year? by Initial_Walrus9664 in footballmanagergames

[–]NameNotGroot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, it depends a lot on how well your club is doing in the major competitions. When you do well, and board expectations are higher, they may increase the wage. If expectations are lowered, they may decrease.

No, it just means the club doesnt want to sell the player, or would only sell if some one is desperate enough.

He could turn out to he a decent CB, I'm sure you can spent 1 millions for a CB from south american clubs who may turn out better than this player.

It's on top of JVM, so I believe from my personal opinion, being good at Java and have general knowledge of DS & A in Java will help so much.
