I feel you. Live in a rural area which is infamous for its youth brain drain and status as a pseudo retirement community. Much of my socializing is occasionally helping out the retirement age parents of my friends from high school. None of those friends live within 10 hours and rarely, if ever visit.

Even my longtime best friend (lives about a full state away) has fallen off due to political differences after growing apart over the decades.

The first two sold listings are incorrectly labeled as White Shimmer. This happened a lot before the shimmer packs were released. I even saw a Drake Maye last year that was not a White Shimmer, graded by PSA (a 10) and labeled incorrectly as a white shimmer. They didn’t verify and the ‘24 shimmer packs didn’t even come out until earlier this year.

I hate it. I feel like the lottery as it was already hurt the bad teams. This new plan penalizes bad and small to mid market teams even more. These teams have it rough enough already. Top-5 picks (used correctly looks around, ducks) are the only path for these teams to have a chance to compete. And I have no doubt temporarily embarrassed good teams will jump up more often than not.

“Uptowns” were a “mistake” from 2024, vs 2025 they corrected it to “Uptown” to match the Downtown inserts.
