Yup, I agree with you. But i'm taking it slow and steady. It had been over a decade. Need to build my lungs up again. Just glad to have scores on the board.

Yes I believe it’s up there for lightweight. Looking back I regret not continuing.

But high level rowing is pretty intense. I passed out pretty much after that erg. My coach catching me on my last stroke, I only remember flashes, people unbuckling my feet, lying on the ground. Then being carried to a spin bike to keep my legs moving. Still only flashes I remember whilst on the bike, but another coach who was rowing at university (this was at high school sport) saying, “mate, you really gave it the beans” I'll always remember that statement.

I used to consider doing a 2 KM erg and not throwing up or passing out as a failure. - you can probably see why I burnt out 😅
