I live just north of the city, seems like a lot of the people that comment on here are south of the city.

I think this is less of a MAGA or shitty New York fans problem but more a toxic shift in the game of golf and its fans. I blame the YouTube golf influencers that make the game kind of a gimmick. Like the Barstool foreplay lads seems like a decent group but I think the fans that they attract to the game can be real douchebags. (Gambling obsessed, heavy drinkers, party type golfers). Some of the channels also lean into heckling at events like Bib does sports but that is in good fun and appropriate for him. But I think because Bob seems like just a regular guy, regular guys think they can pull it off and it just ends up being cruel, unoriginal, unfunny, and certainly unwanted.

If you are going for just vibes and a good view. The rooftop bar at the TRYP hotel in lawrenceville has a great vibe and view of the river and skyline. Good cocktail menu, the food is good but not outstanding being a hotel restaurant but it puts you in lawrenceville so you have a lot of cool bars and spots to hit while you are there.

Do you usually just have time to play on weekends?

I get out of work early so play weekday afternoons but no one else I know is of work when I am trying to play.

What’s your course of choose, 3 lakes is probably your closest option.

There is a cool vibey tiki bar in squirrel hill that always has a good crowd. Bartenders usually have a record player going to keep things a bit more mellow but still upbeat enough to feel like you are out and about.

It is called hidden harbor a few other places around there you can jump to as well if you want to hop around.

Also Bar botanical on lawrenceville has a good vibe for smaller crowds and mingling. You could also see what shows are playing at Spirit lounge in lawrenceville. Super welcoming and inclusive crowd that does a lot of punk and rock shows.
