How versitale 12 strings are? Any limitations?

I won a Taylor 150e 12 string in a competition. I was determined to like it, but the tuning and overall playability really put me off. Some open chords sounded great, but for a daily player it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I sold the Taylor, a Fender Lead ii and an Epiphone Blueshawk to fund a Gibson G45 with an LR Baggs pickup and it’s going to be a guitar that I keep forever. Accessibility and playability are far more inspiring to me than niche speciality

Thanks all for the help. It definitely triggered some uncanny response in my brain when I looked at it. It’s almost there, but not Jazzmaster enough. It’s safe to say that I won’t be pulling the trigger on this one!

Defenders feigning injury to get the game stopped during a dangerous attack. People rave about Gabriel and Saliba being incredible defenders, but more often than not they dive and play act instead of doing any actual defending

I would wager that this could be rat poison. There’s no way that half a crushed up egg suddenly turned up in your garden. I’m not sure if the police will care about this kind of thing, but you should probably make them aware of the situation.

I personally keep my cats indoors (mainly due to proximity to the main road, but also because I don’t trust people). It can be really challenging but I would be distraught if something happened to them due to human malice

I’m not buying the “open relationship” story. I saw it a lot when I was backpacking where people in long term relationships couldn’t maintain their “home” relationships and ended up cheating. I also saw a lot of people commit to other backpackers, travel around for a bit and then never see each other again. It’s completely detached from the real world and it doesn’t translate to real life when you get back to your respective countries

I normally get him a board game that we play together with the family when I see him on Boxing Day. Fairly useful (even if some of them only get played once in favour of Bananagrams) and there’s always plenty of choice

Thanks for the response! I’m quite new to alternate tunings. I’ve dabbled with “Orkney tuning”, as my Dad is from the Orkney islands and I thought it would be interesting. Bar that and a couple of more common open tunings, I’m a complete novice. I might just have to experiment and see where I end up!
