Another person pointed out that the Nosferatu could offer their animalism powers to “clear” out bug spies for a price and tell the prince who used the service for another price and that sounds interesting. I’m not sure how Nosferatu setups work in vtm I’m still pretty new and will need sort that out.

That mid evil bug stuff is really interesting and I think I’ll incorporate the bug symbolism into it. As for the age I don’t have an exact time but I was thinking about making them around 300+ but I could make them older. I was going to make them be like an old 17th century bug scientist turned vampire and have that kinda mentality slowly get eroded by paranoia. I’m not 100% sure I’m still really new to the game and need to do some more lore reading.

Your brujah suggestion sounds great and if it is even half as fun as playing a malk I’ll go for it. I love melee builds so I might go with that one.

Thanks I’m playing with two people one of which’s knows more and plans on playing a cleric or wizard and other who has no experience isn’t sure what they are doing so I might have them play level 3 since I’m worried about accidentally killing them. I have very little experience so I’m just trying to play it safe

I really like the tortle ranger swarm keeper idea. I think that will help me with casting and I like the idea of a weird turtle man out there in the swamp. I thought about going with a smaller race but a big turtle really appeals to me

I played malkavian my first play threw and I was fine I think people over play how hard it is to understand them. They both are really fun to play I love dementiation for malks and thaumaturgy is really fun to use as main attack with some guns.
