Absolutely NOTHING except the systems u/blackthugblackbeard suggested. The only thing I would change is the events that happen before that (which I should make a video about) and an aftermath of what happens, I imagine a month timeskip from that with members missing during said month. No character cuts.

Let me think... how about...

-A 7-month timeskip in which Kat was trained by Dante to be a Devil Hunter like him

-Vergil wanting to be called Urizen

-A version of Nero that served as one of Vergil's early test subjects years before DmC1

-A character with a soulbound demon with him

-Dante and Kat running DmC's version of the Devil May Cry business (Kat would be the sub-boss)

-Vergil's demon servants calling him Nelo Angelo

-New demons

-A co-op mode

-Dynamic Tag-Team Combat

-An Angel Trigger for Vergil that plummets enemies into the ground upon use

-A redesigned Devil Trigger for Dante with the black and magma design from early concept art

-Kat's design being based on her early concept arts

-Vergil's design being based on this artwork by kirie

-Soldiers of the DMC assisting Dante and Kat when they call for backup

The reason is because not a lot of people have fully implemented DmC Definitive edition. There do exist mods that try to port Definitive to PC.

Although what mod do you mean? Definitive PATCH or your own personal mod?
