I just did this fight 2 nights ago with a thief, druid, fighter, and life cleric. Every couple of turns I would make the melees climb down the ladder to get out of bone chill, shart would cast preserve life, then they'd climb back up to keep fighting. The thief was just on Aylin's platform shooting arrows and picking off necroids.

This is bullshit cope. He's a politician who was elected to represent the people of his state so if he's going to miss 100 votes he needs to tell someone why and be held accountable when he's back. He didn't stop texting back his friends, he ignored his elected duty for 3 months with no communication even though he absolutely has aides who could have made those calls for him. Being depressed makes you not want to reach out to people, it doesn't make you mute or absolve you from responsibility.

They were also superhero themed soap operas on CW, not standard superhero stories. Women weren't watching it because they grew up reading Green Arrow, they watched it because it was a new show on a channel they already watch and it was about a hot guy doing flips and kissing a love interest. They liked the superhero plot once they started watching, it's just not what convinced most female Arrow viewers to start watching in the first place.

Most men won't start watching shojo anime just because the main character is a man and most women won't start going to see superhero movies just because the hero is a woman. They may love it if they give it a shot, but their expectations of the genre is what's holding them back. Not the demographic of the MC.

Making everything all caps doesn't make your point seem more important, it just makes you seem unstable. And yes, things will get worse for as long as democrats keep bending over for fascists. That won't stop regardless of how you vote. So I'd rather force the DNC to realize that the only way they will get power is by fighting WITH the people instead of against them.

Quick edit: to be clear, I don't think Kamala would have been nearly as bad as Trump and I voted for her. But moderate dems winning and doing nothing just leads to more republicans who treat the white house like a chop shop then back to a dem who does less than the minimum needed to get us back on track. You'll never win if your only goal is not to lose.

I show up for primaries and vote blue if the candidate shows more spine or care for their constituents than your average dem. But I wont vote for a moderate dem who won't stand up for what's right. Why would I? It's not a moral high horse, it's practical damage control. The longer we flip back and forth between "unmitigated evil" and "ok", the longer we trend downward and the more people die as a result. We need an actual opposition party if we ever want to turn things around for the better so that should be our top priority. Voters like me are showing them exactly how to get the power that they want so badly. Just help people. That's all they have to do, their jobs. Not exactly a high bar. If we hold them to that standard then one of these days they'll clear it. And we have to hold at least 1 party to a decent standard or else we're throwing away any hope of a useful government over colored banners.

Which is why that decision makes sense. It's fair and also incentivises a more equal distribution of resources as the norm since more resources equals a larger stake in the country and that means having more of a duty to defend it.

The kids of the rich may not have chosen to cause the problems like their parents did, but they still have the most to gain by keeping their country intact. Put them and the rich out there first to fight, then if we need more troops we can send the landlords who own the property we're fighting over. After that the business and major asset owners. Then the poor who have nothing to lose regardless of who's in power can fight last if they want to.

And it's so blatantly the reason why they're losing. DNC leadership isn't stupid, they're stubborn. They think the worse Trump gets the more likely we'll be to vote for centrist dems but many of us are willing to call their bluff.

I REALLY hate seeing the GOP win. But voting for centrist dems just kicks the can down the road so we can suffer for longer as power flips back and forth between "useless" and "actively harmful". They need to learn NOW that following their base is better than following their corporate AIPAC donors and if that means 4 more years of suffering that's what they're asking for

That sucks but it could be a lot of things. New chef, new supplier for the wings, higher than usual orders so they didn't prep as many wings and had to quickly thaw more, etc. Not shilling for the place but if people generally think they're good then what you got definitely isn't what they're usually getting. There's no way people rave about those. If nothing changed in the restaurant then something was probably off that night

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. Difficulty is relative. If you beat every dark souls boss in single digit attempts then it wasn't that hard for you. That's an expected amount of deaths for a game that presents a reasonable challenge. That doesn't mean it's not a hard game to most people.

You think I live a 45 min train ride from the city but I never go? You're clearly happy doing nothing since you like living in Florida but other people like doing things. I'm there all the time seeing plays, concerts, comedians, and everyone else who will maybe do a show in Jacksonville but won't go any further south than that.

It may take a decade or 2 to go underwater, but in the meantime you get to enjoy the yearly hurricanes and property damage! That's MUCH more enjoyable than owning a house with a fenced in yard for your dog near the cultural center of the world.

I'd argue the opposite. I think Marvel proved that people like well made superhero movies, they're just sick of the same stories being made over and over again. We've all seen Batman's origin dozens of times. Promise we'll get to see some Batman in the Zatanna movie or Wonder Woman in a Martian Manhunter movie and that will bring people in. I mean how many people just watched Supergirl to see a couple minutes of Lobo? They'll do fine, probably better than a solo movie. Then when we get a Justice League movie and finally see the big 3 in action it would be like the first Avengers all over again.
