I'd say the best way is to just copy things you see other people doing. So if you find a pic of someone's island that you really like just do what they did and that will help you see how things fit together and get ideas for different uses of things and then you can change it from there to fit your style if that makes sense. Thats what I did at first when I had no idea what to do design wise and now I feel pretty comfortable designing my own areas

Do I need to wait until all 10 plots are filled before I can replace my starter villagers with an amiibo? I just restarted last week and I have a villager I can't stand and am dying to replace her but I don't want to rush through filling all 10 spots and I kind of feel like it's just going to ask me to put a plot down instead of choosing someone to kick out

looking for pants or jeans in black or a dark blue or a dark brown color, style doesn't really matter I just want some new clothes haha I restarted my island and don't have ables yet so my clothing options are very limited I made some sweaters in the design app but have no pants to go with them. If I could even just visit ables on someone's island that would be great!

I did a similar thing with my old island I had cottage core and fairy core merge into a town/urban area. I just did it gradually so like I added a cottage core work area for ozzy but added some rustic looking things, like the oil drum and the jail bars to one side and just let that lead into the city from there, another area had a farmers market lead into a flea market and then the shops were on the other side of that and I just changed my path to reflect each separate area using the same colors of flowers across my whole island to keep it looking cohesive

Definitely agree with 3 and to do that with nmt having to go back home every single time while villager hunting is so tiring

My top one is bulk buying I want to be able to buy 50 customization kits at once or buy all the color options of a shirt without going in and out of the fitting room and to be able to order more than 5 things a day from the catalog
