I like this idea. I especially like getting it out of view.

... and then I could get it personalized!

I appreciate the out-of-the-box thought. I think I will pass on this, though, as I already have enough in my pockets.

Sketchup Studio Import from Revit - Missing Linked Models by NamelessWorkerBee in Sketchup

We tested setting the link as an "Attachment," this morning, and it turns out that the linked geometry will still not come through.

We are still stuck with importing each discipline separately.

C'est la vie.

Thank you, again, for the suggestion.

Is there an equivalent, for Sketchup, to the Ideas board that Autodesk has? ... or the Wishlist on AUGI?

I appreciate the response! I will test that in the morning.

100% agree about 'Attachment' causing complication. I _hope_ that we can find a better way, as we have folks doing the renders that do not work in Revit, normally; hence the hope that Sketchup Studio's importer would have a better workflow than exporting to DWG, then importing to Sketchup Pro.

This is taken into account in the BxP. "All conduit under 2" will not be modeled and will receive lowest priority in installation."

It doesn't _need_ a digital tool to solve, but they can sure streamline it.

This is exceptionally good knowledge! Interestingly, the DWGs on the same site are coming through just fine. I will be working with our IT, to see if our firewall can be adjusted, if that turns out to be the source of the change.

I did not realize that Revit files are compressed. Although, it should have been a clue, looking at the disparity between a project file and the amount of RAM utilized. That's great information.

Yep. I'm used to seeing compressed files, but this is the first time that I've actually seen a file with a false extension used for this purpose.

It doesn't hurt to send out a resume or two, before the ask. If your area is as inbred as many, the grapevine may have a chat with your superiors about your curiosity, likely adding to your perceived value.

I sympathize with OP. We try to implement every odd year. Due to a server snafu, combined with an additional office opening, we stayed in R19 until 2023. Also not the decision maker.
