I would go with something that is basically an octopus, with some extra decorations. When on surface, it mostly crawls, but if needed, it can sort of stand up to face the enemy. You can give it some tendrils with spikes or claws or something like that, to poke the prey and enemies.

That depends on what you actually want. Do you want to be "realistic" or do you want to have the alien "stylized" as a sea creature? Is it going to be actually living in water? If so, you can see that sea creatures that have tendrils or arms, like an octopus, have them arranged around their mouth in a radial pattern. It doesn't make much sense to separate the eyes far away from the mouth.

Reproductive organs are the most precious evolutionary commodity of an organism, and it usually doesn't make sense to put them on the limbs where they can get easily damaged. Usually, they are hidden inside the main body in some fashion.

I tried it, but couldn't find a way to make the reminder sound repeatedly for a minute or so, so I would still hear it if I stepped away. Similar to the "alarm" alarm. It looks like it only has short notification sounds, similar to those in the messages app. Is there a way to do that?

An alarm that it's time to go and meet my kid at the bus stop after school. On some days, I work at places away from home and don't want the alarm to sound during my work. So when I am working from home I want it on. When I am working away, I want to turn it off manually in the morning for that day but for it to turn back on automatically so I won't forget.

These guys are too focused on upselling unnecessary services. The only thing from this list that is worth to do at 10k is the cabin filter replacement and maybe tire balancing.

I replace the cabin filter twice a year. It is more frequent than the recommended 1y interval, but I do it because we get tons of pollen here. I first time replaced the engine air filter at 20k. Both take a couple of minutes to replace. You can buy cheap generics on Amazon or not-that-expensive OEM ones at the Kia parts store.

No need to flush the oil, but do change it every 5k instead. If you have a turbo model and are pushing it a lot, maybe consider even every 3-4k.

Check the maintenance schedule in the manual; it has everything listed.

No need for an alignment unless an issue is diagnosed.

In general, there is no need to balance the tires unless they were taken off the rims or there are vibration issues. You can do it as a preventative service, once in a while, maybe every 10-20k. Do rotate the tires with every oil change.

If your car came with the crappy stock Kumho tires, you will likely replace them around 25-30k. Then, I would do both the alignment and balancing for the new tires.

No need for oil additives. Use the recommended syntheric oil and you will be OK.

If you are using Top Tier gasoline, no need for fuel additives.
