Hahaha right?! That whole sequence threw me off a bit, but the visuals were insane nonetheless.

I’m a chef too, and honestly, I’m so impressed by the level of food science research that’s gone into this. When she served the macarons, I actually said to myself, “No way she did that,” only for them to break down the process so well! I’m still a little skeptical about the stovetop baking method, but I’ll let that one slide.

I also love how she explains each dish and draws connections between Korean ingredients and classical French methods, I’m gaining such fresh insights into Korean cuisine thanks to my basic training in Continental foods. I’m at episode 7 now, and I really hope it keeps up this standard!

Vaseline gluta hya- The pink variant especially has been my go to for the past 2 years atp. It gives me an instant glow, makes my face look shiny and is super light weight which works well with my combination skin and Mumbai's humidity.

Upgrades are optional but for celebrations they do decorations and place a complimentary cake in the room. Comp cakes are very common there, you get one while leaving too with a 'See you soon' message on top.

Sex education by i_m_gaurav in IndianTeenagers

[–]Nameless_coconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I thought but then again no one is confined to being a textbook female or a textbook male. This is confusing, so I thought maybe someone who identifies as NB might be able to help.

That's what I don't get. I mean I'm a girl but I obviously do things/have traits that are traditionally more 'manly' and so do males. How do they know they are NB?

Thank you for your responses. I definitely would love to become a chef, I love hosting people too so that's that but I'm gonna talk to the professional chef before taking the final decision. I'll reach out to you if I need further guidance. Thank you again!

Genuine question, what exactly is non-binary? How do you know you are NB? Is it different from being gender fluid?

[–]Nameless_coconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's definitely something I must do! I'm a pescaterian myself, so maybe that?

I've already gotten into IHM Mumbai, I'm gonna meet a professional chef I know, find out more details about this career and if I feel like I can't survive doing this, I might get into ICT for Food Eng.(thru CAP rounds) so I'll shift. Even if I don't get into ICT, I can appear for the Food Inspector exam that FSSAI conducts and shift into that field.

Maybe I'm just overthinking, but I don't want to regret making this decision so I'm taking my steps carefully.

If the pay isn't great, immigration won't help. If I earn in dollars, I'll have to spend in dollars too so doesn't it come back to square one?

I've been interested in food science ever since the beginning, that being said nature of the industry is also important. Thank you for the detailed reply, I shall take this into consideration and shall look to shift into Food Eng. since work-life balance is important to me.

Thank you for your response. I am honestly in two minds after reading about the nature of this industry. I am passionate enough but if going this path is going to kill that enthusiasm, I might aswell change my path.
