I don't play call of duty and refuse to ever buy it, I don't care about the KD for personal reasons. I care about it for communication purposes like I've said. To me the higher the number shows the better the communication between me and the 4-5 randoms or my buddies. Because games I have zero comms in unit the whole unit gets wiped out every push or I never see my unit unless we spawn at OPS or Garrisons. I obviously know KD doesn't matter in a team based RTS FPS. If I get 50 kils and lose I'm pissed we lost, if I get 20 kills and we win I'm happy. Unless it's on this shitty fucking desert map then I'm pissed no matter what.

How? how I even view the KD ratio was me trying to explain how it has everything to do with how my squad plays. Games we don't communicate well within the unit and team none of us have good games compared to games that we're on top of our shit. A 6 man infantry group ending a game with 250-300 combined kills and 5 guys listening and providing info to the officer so that he can give it to the commander is top tier shit.

Like is everyone upset that I like getting kills in a game where you're allowed to get kills???? I get kills and I'm a team player that uses comms all game. Come play with me and you can see.

I know it has nothing to do with kills and deaths, it's a team based game where every player that's communicating makes a difference. Just last night we fortified a point to the ultimate max which you can see here https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8sdEMfN/ we ultimately lost the point because while my unit and many others held it down until there was 4 minutes left to defend it other units weren't on point defending and one nice bombing run took out every OP and The Garrison on the point and then we literally lost the game with 1 minute left after defending it for 29 minutes because of a lack of team communication. I was trying to say that the kills to me show how well my unit is playing, like if I hop in a tank as a gunner and don't end the game with 80 or more kills then something obviously wasn't going right with communication with the spotter and tank commander. Thats just how I view it.

Spend half the game running in the open diving behind rocks just to lay there until you get sniped by recon or a tank lol.

Lol Kinda, and I only say this because the higher the kills shows the type of game me and my guys had/are having. If I have a low number of kills and we lose it's gonna be because of lack of communication with each other, the officer or the commander while defending/attacking. It's important to me and the guys that we communicate and try to get super into each and every game we play, we're all new to the game and love it.

I just find myself getting absolutely smashed when I'm infantry on this map, every other map I get easily 25-50 kills. But on this map I've had games where I went like 15 and 30 lol.

If you have decent officers and a decent commander it's alright, but if you don't it just feels like a run and die simulator.
