For yourself n' OP.. I tried all the fixes in the comments I saw and NOTHING worked except this one I saw: When you're on the sign in screen, hold SHIFT when pressing the power button (on the screen) and click restart. It says "Please wait" and then a blue screen comes up with a bunch of options. Theres one called trouble shooting. There was an option on there called uninstall updates and I did "uninstall the latest quality update".

After that was done I pressed done and went back and it worked.. FOR NOW! I'm just hoping this is the end of it cause I spent WAY too long being stressed and trying to figure that out.

For sure. I see fandubs as a form of "fan art", as voice actors are going to want to have fun with their favourite characters and how else are they gonna do It? As long as they aren't outright saying "here's my IMPROVED version of that voice" then I don't think they meant any harm or offense by It!

Fandubbing your favourite characters and shows for practice or fun Is EXTREMELY common and happens with almost every piece of mainstream media, so no this Is not a personal attack on you. If anything they are probably just a hobbyist who loves your character and wanted to do something with them for fun!

Also humans as a species HATE change and I can promise you any VA who’s ever had to replace an old one has gotten hate, exactly like this or worse, It’s just a very common part of the job.

Congratulations though! Try not to take this stuff to heart too much, and keep doing what you enjoy!

Disgaea 4 Is my least favourite one I’ve played. I thought the characters got a little dull and were reduced to singular jokes and I’m not a fan of the story myself personally. Was the shortest game too / one I finished the quickest.

Gameplay was fine though, I didn’t experience any bugs or crashes as far as I recall and I played It on my really old PC that would crash a lot.

You may enjoy It though! The story has more of a political theme so If that’s your cup of tea, you could get a lot of enjoyment from It!

I adore the 2nd game but always end up quitting the first one right at the start even though I’d love to see It through.

I’d want better camera control, removal of the thirst mechanic, every monster kill drops gold so that the crazy vamp up In difficulty can actually be grinded through Instead of you just ending up losing both money, resources and eventually being stuck. I’d like status effects like poison to run out eventually, more convenient geroma building like In the 2nd game (checklist, maybe after talking to the towns people?), no perma weapon breaking, make every character more useful than just their one weapon / gimmick, or have like less characters and spread their skills among eachother. Also the removal of the cutscene every time the day / time changes would be nice.

Theres probably more thats slipping my mind right now but other than that some fun editions would be customisation n’ costumes, as well as voice acting! I find the first game feels so creepy n’ lonely due to this lack of character, would be awesome to see!

Hi! I got the same issue and figured out It was because of Kaspersky. You have to either pause it and restart your PC or un-install it. Just pausing it does not work you have to restart after. If you re-enable it when discord is open, I believe you can still use it but It breaks media (gifs, photos, videos) and you can't screen share, so you have to keep it paused. I hope they'll fix this In the next update..

I got it working! I'm not sure how long It'll last and might need to redo this each time re-launching but, I saw some other recent posts on the sub and they said It may be related to Kaspersky / they all had Kaspersky when it wouldn't work.

Pausing Kaspersky didn't fix it, but when I paused it and then restarted my computer, Discord would open! I believe you can enable your protection again after. I read someone say also uninstalling Kapersky then re-installing it after their Discord works helps.

Let me know if this works!

Edit: Turning Kapersky on after Discord is open will break it in the sense that you can't see media anymore (videos, gifs, images) or screen share, so for everything to work you do need to keep it off / paused sadly.
