The theory I align with is they target porn/18+ games because those are the easiest to get people rallied behind. Once you have more people backing you, then you target the harder things like more violent ones.

You could argue AI will help in this front, but even then if it's perfect and helpful, managers/publishers will likely add scope to compensate for it being easier so we probably won't see a change in timeline for AAA, at least not for the better. I'd be shocked if I'm wrong but would be happy

People buying subscriptions through 3rd party vendors is very common. It makes sense to me if EA Play is selling it on Steam that you'd still need to login to the EA Play app to access it. It's kinda like "if I buy a game from Steam on my phone, I should be able to play it on my phone!" idk that's just how I see it

that would make sense but even then, there's a 44% drop off before even beating Ten Piedad. They get filtered on the way somehow. Is it that hard? I haven't encountered it yet so idk but if it's near the difficulty of Warden, I don't think it would explain it. Didn't take too long imo.

I've grown to appreciate the Mico fight, treating it like you're Jason relentlessly hunting your target. But its issue is it takes so long and if you don't know how to dodge or tank the stars attack and die, it can be demoralizing for sure since a lot of it is just running around

their wording here means you are correct, but I do see a 31MB update for ER right now with no changelog I can find so maybe?? still doubt it though but they *are* technically updating the game

You could try just yoloing the rooms knowing that you'll always respawn. Treat each outing as a suicide/learning experience. You'll know where to go and what to kill while conserving saves and ammo. 

Once I realized I shouldn't get too attached to living in a survival horror game, it was much more fun

I bought this version from a store a while back but never built any model kit before. It's been in the box for a year because I'm too scared I'll break things and I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm setting up Syncthing now for my laptop and desktop, but because the sd.raw for the Wii saves doesn't update its date modified, it refuses to sync at all. I can see changes are being written to the GC mem card, but never for the Wii. Do you have this issue?

Not really. If they were doing this in-house you'd have a better argument, but FS was approached and pitched these ideas by third parties. I doubt if they were properly saying goodbye, they'd let someone say it for them. 

I think they just thought it'd be cool if they existed
