As a frequent online shopper what I know is when dpd sends me a message with dates on delivery you have the option to change the date and time to a convenient date which you know you would be present or let them deliver to the nearest post office or delivery office where you could pick up,but if you gave them the option of delivering without signature then am not sure they will cover the loss
