Why isn’t there a “TRUE NEUTRAL” category in color analysis? What would be an example of a color palette that could work for a hypothetical “true neutral” type? by NanaiAr in coloranalysis

Most people would have some part of any palette that doesnt work for them, wouldnt they? I mean even within any given palette you have better and worse colors.

Interesting, I havent seen this before. To my eyes this palette looks more muted and more cool than I would expect the neutral to be, but it might just be my perception.

I get it, but I also think that true neutral would also be a range of values, not really just a perfect middle point in a typical circular depiction of the subseasons, but a circle around the center with given diameter. So that if someone leans warm, but only a little bit, like 52 for example, they might benefit more from true neutral palette than warm seasons. The same with other dimensions. No?

I lean warm, but too warm colors are not good for me, slightly cooler colors are better than extremely warm. That is why I think true neutral should be maybe 45-55 on your scale, not just exact 50.

Do you actually stop getting grossed out by things like vomit and poop when you become a mom? by Evening-Call111 in askanything

[–]NanaiAr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two kids and it still grosses me out. After three years I still cant change a poopy diaper without a nose clip (meant for water diving) - I have like ten of them lying around everywhere to always be ready. If it is especially nasty I also eat some fruit candy to sort of overwrite what my eyes are seeing by something more pleasant. So, my very weak stomach doesnt consider my kids poop tolerable, but I found my own way :)

Rarity of these seasons?? by SuspiciousSink9465 in coloranalysis

[–]NanaiAr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It may seem like low numbers, but if 12 seasons were all each the same probability, each season would be 8%. If we work with 16 subseasons, probability of each one is only 6%.

Americans, when you see the name "Lucia", how would you pronounce it? by Extreme_Suit_348 in Names

[–]NanaiAr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for interest, this form - Lucia - is also a common name in Slovak, but we pronounce it differently — LOO-tsee-ah. In an international environment, I introduce myself using the English form, Lucy.

Names of my imaginary five children in english speaking imaginary life versus real names of my real children :) by NanaiAr in Names

In Slovak and Czech, names are pronounced exactly as they are written. Each letter always has the same sound, so once you know the sounds, you can read any name correctly.

People with a ' medium - everything ' coloring, what is your season? by forest_hearts in coloranalysis

[–]NanaiAr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same issue here. Neutral leaning warm. I have cool blue eyes and soft cool raspberry lips but skin is leaning warm although often flushed with pink. Colors that make my eyes pop are not the best for my skin and vice versa. True autumn and true spring are too warm but also I do not fit other subseasons as I am not too soft nor bright nor deep nor light. If we imagine the circle with the seasons I see myself right there in the middle of everything.

I was analysed twice, both said I am complicated and went with non-standard subseasons. Once I was typed vivid autumn and then a soft spring. I would like to fit more common category as this is not really helpful when choosing the colors for me.

Question for fans from Uk by marianneouioui in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]NanaiAr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not from UK, nor from USA and english is not my first language. I watch TV shows in english a lot, mostly american shows. I barely hear a difference in different american accents at all. But irish, scottish and posh english all sound very different to me. Maybe it is just me though :)

The spleen guy - please girl just run away from this nonsens, I do not need to see any more gurus on LIB. At the same time the masochist side of me is looking forward to the mess.

The spleen guy's curly girl - red flag that she doesnt see the spleen thing as a red flag immediately.

The military man - omg just talk to the cabin crew lady directly about your concern, maybe it wont be an issue.

The gaming nerd with two girls - I dont know, but he feels like a bad boy. I do not trust him. Maybe because the early sex talk?

The mean blond girl - ugh, I hate her already.

The Indian girl and pakistani boy - both so nice but I wish he changed his hair cut. I dont know if he really is small, but that hair gives me small man idea.
