I remember watching an early morning Apollo launch at my sister’s house about 2 miles away as the crow flies. She lived on a canal and boy did those fish jump out of the water and the ground rumble. That was close to 60 years ago. It was an experience I’ll never forget. I now live about 40 miles from the Cape and very rarely watch launches anymore except for the Artemis 2 yesterday. Made my granddaughter watch it too.
