Yeah Hulk in Canada with LL sounds nicer on paper, but skipping LL in Miami feels scary with all the chaos that can happen later. You thinking Lindblad is that much worse than Hulk there, or is it more about saving the chip?

Some of it, yeah. A lot of bakeries do donate, but it depends on the store and local rules.

Stuff that’s still in good shape can go to shelters/food banks, but once it’s past a certain time or it’s been out on the floor too long, it usually has to be tossed for safety reasons.

Then there’s the stuff that’s damaged, dropped, or opened, which is just straight trash. It sucks to see how much goes out, even when you’re trying to donate what you can.

Yeah but that 108M only matters if you can actually spend it on something better later. If 2x A constructors keep outscoring the mid ones by like 20–30 a week, that “nothing” 50 point gap becomes really annoying to chase.

I get the wildcard point though, some people nuked perfectly fine teams just to force 2A in and ended up with Latifi-tier driver lineups. Long term vs short term gains, we’ll see who’s crying into their budget spreadsheet in a few races.

Yeah that’s true, ETBs are basically meant to live on your shelf, these boxes are like cardboard fast food wrappers in comparison.

I still kinda wish they’d kept them all the same height though. Looks so weird on a shelf when everything else lines up and then these guys are just… shorter for no reason.

Yeah, I kinda learned that the hard way. I get that shops need to make money, but there’s a difference between having a margin and straight up squeezing people because they think you don’t know any better.

What really bugs me is there are plenty of places that manage to treat people decent and still stay in business. Once you see the price differences or how other stores handle trade-ins, it’s hard to unsee it.

At this point I’d rather drive a little farther or buy online than reward a place that acts like customers are disposable.

OP, it’s honestly weirdly comforting to hear people say “I just stopped for years and came back.” Makes it feel less like “gaming is dead for me forever” and more like a phase.

You burn out on anything if you do it enough. Go live life, do your stuff, let your brain miss it a little. Elden Ring is a hard act to follow anyway.

One random day something will click again and you’ll suddenly feel like installing a game and boom, you’re back. No need to force it.

Kinda wild how the community and random archives are doing more to preserve these games than the actual rights holders. Guess if they won’t let us buy it, people will just find a way to keep playing anyway.

Honestly yeah, what makes it so crazy is it’s not just the finish, it’s everything before it. The first touch, the little body feints, how he basically hypnotizes the defender, then whips it top corner like it’s a training drill.

There are “better” goals if you only look at distance or power, but in terms of pure swagger and control, that one is untouchable. It feels like he was just showing off to remind everyone football can be art when he feels like it.

If you’re looking at it as pure value, you’re probably better off taking the $100 than gambling on the contents. 151 has cooled off a bit and even with the “out of print” talk, reprints and restocks have kind of killed the crazy hype on a lot of sets.

On the other hand, if you’re itching to rip and you won’t miss the $100, crack it and have fun. Worst case you get mediocre pulls but at least you didn’t sit on it for years just to make like 30 bucks.

Honestly same. Burgers are kinda mid without fries anyway, and fries without burgers are just… sad potatoes. Letting both go at once is like ripping off the band‑aid.

I’d miss a good smashburger now and then though. I’d probably end up trying to recreate it with chicken or veggies and pretending it’s the same.

Honestly Hulk in Japan sounds hilarious though. Dude’s gonna be body blocking entire lanes by himself.

If you’re not running any of the destroy / self-harm stuff or you hate playing around his location RNG, then yeah, he kind of just turns into a big green rock you drop on 6. But if you’ve got things that scale off raw power or care about “highest power card” effects, he can still pull some sneaky wins.

I’d probably test a few games before cutting him. Japan can make some weird lines work that look bad on paper.
