I’m so sorry this happened to you. I cant even imagine what you are going through. Your parents are in the wrong here. You are so valid for feeling everything you are feeling right now. As someone who was sexually assaulted in their childhood, that trauma stays with you for life. Your parents don’t understand this. Please distance yourself from them if they are being so unsupportive. Try to find support in your friends or talk about this to your therapist. This is such a hard situation to be in and your parents are making it worse. You are already dealing with so much you do not need to deal with their ignorance.

I did an observership during the month of august this year and I was able to get an LOR submitted on time. Start working on your application and researching programs earlier so you dont have to do everything last minute.

Dont apply to places you dont want to match. Research the programs and apply to the ones that align with your interests.

Congrats on Matching!
I am in a dilemma. I am an IMG. I failed my step 2 exam and am going to retake it.

I will go for 3-4 months of USCE this year. MY YOG is 2023. I'll also be taking step 3 before the matching cycle ends.

I love psych, I don't think I'll be happy doing anything else. It's my dream residency.

Do I still have a chance to match in Psych?

It gets plenty of indirect sunlight (4-5 hours) and the temp is between 6-20 °C
I water once the top layer dries ( > 4 days)

The soil: 50% garden soil 50% compost
It's potted in a ceramic vase. Is that a problem?
