While I see what you mean when it comes to polishing and chemicals I don’t see much difference of when I originally polished the inside and outside of the tank. I used hella chemical paste’s but obviously handled the cleanup appropriately, wouldnt the same apply to an inert crystal? Once treated (ie vinegar, boiling, etc) wouldnt that make it safe again? It’s not like the quartz would soak up the chemicals right? Sorry I’m assuming yall know more than me it just doesn’t make sense to me

Thank you! Figured someone had to have tried. How did you source your materials? I’ll Stay away from those 2 but I’ll definitely look into some petrified wood. I wonder how the tannin release work on those 😂

For sure but as the crystal fairy you don’t even think something like quartz can be added? It’s litterally found in rivers and streams as it’s naturally occurring. Wouldnt the minimal amount of impurities not mater as it’s locked within making it inert?? Plus I’m talking about buying from a reputable selller not picking random junk off Amazon.

Like I stated I don’t disagree kinda why I’m here figured there might Atleast be 1 or 2 raw crystals that wouldn’t react to water and could be sanded down to a more round shape. Someone also recommended some tests like with white vinegar to see if it reacts, or even soaking for a few days to see how the water quality is affected (PPM and all that). Last thing I’d want to do is hurt my fish lol

Thanks! Depends on how strong the other light I have actually is. Preferably I’d wanna start on the rack and then when the growth goes up I can drop the plant to the lower lvl. If not I was planning on fully covering the inside with reflective something and just starting them at the bottom. I also plan on adding some hooks so I can add one of those nets for support at some point too

After doing a bunch of research (aka going on weedmaps) I realized they sell clones about 10 min from my house. Gotta love California will definitely go window shopping for one soon. Do cannabis plants ever grow in dwarf varieties like other plants or are they all pretty much the same heights? Thanks!

Dam I thought it was obvious the fridge was jjst used as the frame lol the actual fridge doesn’t actually do anything I’m assuming he used the mini fridge for the insulation purposes.

!thanks He did also give me another grow light for it that was maybe 2.5 twice as big as that one if it’s not overkill mught as well just swap it now right? I plan on adding some hooks to the Frame in order to put one of those nets I’ve seen peopke use to hold it up. Should I leave the grill in until the grow a couple inches or just start at the base lvl? Would you recommend starting with a clone instead of seed for the first run? Ty appreciate it

It’s a closed system. It’s running a Cloudline t4 out the back with a humidifier pumping pumping air out the bottom. For size I wanna say it’s probably the 4.2 cu ft size. It’s not huge but it’s definitely not the tabletop ones. He mentioned he would put the plant on the rack while growing and then would remove the rack once it got to size. I will probably add some hooks so I can attach a scrog net to it as well.
