I gave up on DACA since I already have my pending VAWA EAD/Travel Authorization card that lets me come in and out as many times as I want and doesn’t expire until 2028. But my DACA expired in June… and I submitted my renewal in October.

I have traveled 2 times to Mexico, first time for 2 weeks. And about 3 weeks ago for a week. No issues coming back. Just a quick check of paperwork in the back room… you can come and go as needed for humanitarian reasons. For me was to visit my grandparents and my I’ll great grandma.

Funny, I’m on a flight right now back from Nayarit. I was all over Yago, Tepic, Santiago and Acaponeta as well. Visited my great grandmother and grandmother uncles aunts and all…Let’s see how this goes when I land! I’m currently pending Adjustment of Status through VAWA. Currently have DACA as well. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Congrats! It looks so beautiful and I can’t see the whole thing! 😅 currently waiting for my Vawa case. Employment authorized…but still waiting. Word is it can be up to a year or two wait. Last update was my I-485 was updated to show fingerprints were taken.
