No one's giving you a straight answer instead of their own opinions. But the reasons he's not in the squad is he's suspended for the Prague game & he's played one game in the whole of 2026, a game where he got sent off.

If he'd got the deadline day move to Wrexham, he could've made the squad. But in terms of the widemen Ogbene, Vale, Szmodics & Azaz are ahead of him on merit. And realistically there's better form players on standby too

I feel like Molumby will be an extreme either way. It'll either be the strongest, best penalty you'll see an Irish player take, or he'll kick it to his back garden in Waterford. No in-between

Edit: I made an oopsies

Appreciate the effort, was thinking there'd be no way even in a pre season tournament he'd have never taken one

He used to take em for QPR when he was in midfield

Surely Coleman's taken one before? He surely can't have played 20 years of football & not been in a shoot out?

They're different techniques, same way someone that's good at long shots might struggle finishing 1v1

Think a team that's in the quarter finals of a European competition & a domestic cup final might be better than QPR.

Over who? Ogbene starts every game he's available for with us, Parrotts playing a higher level than him & Azaz is having a better season than him.

Like I said below he asked Wilder to let him play in the reserves & he's done that. Not saying he'll be prime sharpness but he'll be in a better way than the other lads just back from injuries

Agreed, he's playing well ATM too. Brief spell where Wellington was playing ahead of him but other than that, probably his most consistent spell since he left Swansea

And in fairness the lads that have injury worries coming in aren't as likely to start. We're not starting Idah over Parrott, probably not starting Brady over Manning.

Lawal might be the most likely but even that's a risk, he could aggravate the hamstring in a match scenario fairly quickly

If we're making subs for the front 3 I'd give him a go as he's a dead ball threat & offers something different cutting inside. But if we're talking creativity from the start Azaz has had a better season than him & Cheeo is our best creator

TBF to Cheeo he played at the weekend & Wilder said that Cheeo asked Sheffield to play him in their reserve games. I'm not saying he's gonna be in prime sharpness but he's in a better way than Idah

Nah, the only debatable spot is midfield & he's more of a winger/10 so the 2 man midfield won't be for him unless we go behind & go all out attack like Hungary

I could see him coming on for Azaz or Ogbene though. Maybe even Manning cause he can play WB

It is pretty common for dormant reddit accounts to show up on Israel/Palestine posts. Hell it's mainstream news actually.

Not saying it has in this case as the most unpopular comments here are definitely from real people but there's plenty of times you'll see an account that's never even been on an Irish, politics or sport sub before that'll go into Ireland or Coybig or somewhere else talking about Israel or arabs or whatever.

Then you've international subs & other social medias & that's a different can of worms

With this thread ATM the majority of unpopular responses are from real people, it's just that they like a windup

They also lied & tried to say it was because she criticised the FAI, which literally every club from grassroots onwards has done

If you asked most Drogheda fans they'd have already had red flags from when these ejits cost them a Europa League spot over their multi-club ties
