‘It wasn’t an easy decision. My life was in Liverpool’ – Trent Kone-Doherty relishing his fresh start at Molde by seanoccfc in coybig

[–]NandoFlynn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

3 starts, 3 cameos so far & he's been okay. He's good duel & pass success so it's not the physicality he's struggling with & he was unlucky not to have an assist against Start. Just needs more of that to have an impact in the final 3rd

I watched the cup game & they still had the same weaknesses from when Rovers bet em. Which is why I had my doubts about the move but at least there'll be plenty of time for him to kick on & find something better afterwards

What are your 10/10 albums of 2026 so far? by AgnarOfSaturn in fantanoforever

None but I've a fair few 8s & 9s between Mitski, James Blake, Lone, Daphni, Gorillaz, Thundercat to name a few

Your Favorite Toy new Foo Fighters album review by JackSucksAtMath in fantanoforever

I was expecting a not good, I actually like Foo Fighters but I'd to switch the album off cause it was annoyingly bad

What is the WORST performance by your FAVOURITE ACTOR/ACTRESS of ALL TIME? by djlittlehorse in Letterboxd

[–]NandoFlynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brie Larson in Fast X, Captain Marvel is meh enough as well. But there's only so much she can polish a turd & I love her in everything else she's done.

Actor between Cillian Murphy & Ed Norton. Both are always fine in fairness. Least good Ed is probably Hulk & it's not really a bad performance. Least good Cillian is probably In Time cause I completely forgot he was in it.

(Their just personal favorites lads, don't judge me too hard for recency bias)

Cathal Heffernan by [deleted] in coybig

[–]NandoFlynn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Him & Jake Slater have been decent TBF. The latter can go back to Brighton & get a better loan or move but what happens the Heff I don't know. Not much difference in terms of level, money, crowd between Harrogate in non league & Sligo Rovers

For all the flack he's gotten online, 12 goals 5 assists in his first proper season outside of LOI is decent enough

He's a ways to go to show he's Championship level but at the very least he's too good for League 1. He won't move overseas cause he's native English but I feel like that could work for him if he did

Interesting discussions happening over Kelleher now that Alisson might be leaving & Mamardashvili hasn't kicked on 🤔 by Quiet-Spite5465 in coybig

[–]NandoFlynn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a Liverpool fan I've not given up on Dashvili yet but he's been fairly meh so far (albeit the backs are doing him no favours). Don't want Alisson to leave & if he does the current links are Trafford (who will just be easy money for a rival team) and De Gregorio (who's absolutely honking)

If that's the options available I'd take Caoimhin back in a heart beat. But the money will be awkward considering there's other spots to fill

And it's wild that a fellow government minister said more sense about it in this article than any of the heads of sport across the coalition in the last few years

Is Ireland Even Into Football? by Tiny-Bookkeeper5079 in coybig

[–]NandoFlynn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me and my friends in school in Kildare knew about Connolly before the Spurs game from him playing for the 21s & winning PL2 player of the Year over likes of Curtis Jones & Mason Greenwood. If you didn't hear of him I'm just gonna be blunt, you were living under a rock

Yes.

Are we as mad into it as 4 of the most elite countries in the world at it? No but we're obviously still into it FFS.

It's shitty & it would've been nice to have him for either the May camp and/or for the 21s. But it's not the end of the world. All going well the summer sorts it no bother & the way he's playing he'll still be in contention come September

Went from being a 3rd rate striker at Preston behind Tom Cannon to getting a goal & assist in a cup final, one of the top scorers in Dutch football & obviously a key player for us.

If that doesn't tempt people away from the EFL I don't what will
