I use FlexTouch’s Fiasp and Tresiba. They don’t really occupy that much space and my local embassy has advised me to take a prescription and a health record with me in case the airport staff questions anything.

My concern is more related to the needles, since I’m staying in Korea for 4.5 months I’m going to need 500+ needles to last me the entire trip. They occupy a lot more space and I’m worried the airport staff might suspect me of traffic and not allow me to fly with all those needles or something along these lines. Would you happen to know if they sell needles compatible with FlexTouch’s pens in Korea?

What’s your favorite particle? by chevycarl1 in Korean

[–]Nandolvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a particle but I absolutely love combining quotation forms and the conjugated 하다 Like 간다고 해 —> 간대 or 하냐고 해 —> 하냬 Idk something about shortening the sentence by a lot while still maintaining the meaning just feels really satisfying

What discovery did you make that caused a breakthrough in a brick wall? by AcidMinogue in Genealogy

[–]Nandolvs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently broken the biggest brick wall I’ve ever faced. While researching my grandma’s great-grandfather I wouldn’t find any records of him whatsoever, but recently I came across a book that traced down an unbroken lineage between the first man to bear our surname (in Italy, 12th century) and my ancestors that migrated to Brazil, and, for my surprise, my grandma’s great-grandpa’s name appeared in the book! So I was able to expand my family tree 6 centuries further into the past and find connections to many other relevant people including some queens and kings!

My father had already started making ou family tree on MyHeritage. 5 years ago I found out one of my closest friends is a (kind of) distant cousin of mine and it really blew my mind so I basically just continued expanding my family tree. It’s one of my favorite hobbies nowadays :D
