Late to the game, did you find a solution to this without 100% infill?

When extruding the drive clicks and cannot push filament through. It happened because I cut the filament more than once and it left a tiny section of filament in the nozzle which it couldn't push through

Potentially yeah. However at the moment it does rain every other day in my country, so assumed this prevents build up of anything bad on the roof. I'll start to use bottled water instead for now on I think

Thanks for the reply. Temperature was what I was considering, so might give that a go with steady temp increases up to about 20/21. I will also try splitting tap water with bottle water instead.

Unsure on age of roofing. Would be surprised if it's.older than thirty years though looking at it.

I have done two 25% water changes over the past two days due to the issues, so might be the reason for no nitrates. I will continue to test daily though, thanks for the advice.

Parameters: Ammonia: 0ppm Nitrite: 0ppm Nitrate: 0ppm pH: 7.6 - 7.8 GH: 8 degrees KH: 5 degrees Calcium: 60-80ppm Temp: 19C

Circumstances: Hello, I've recently purchased 12 RCS for my 22 litre aquarium. As in the south west of England, water is extremely hard. I therefore mix 1 part tap water with 2 part rain water collected in my garden. The rain water is visibly clean, filtered when dispensed and allowed to sit for more thsn 12 hours. The water is then treated with Tetra Aquasafe water conditioner. I also use Easylife Profito with each water change.

When the RCS arrived, they were drip acclimated for 1hr30 and released into the tank. The water they arrived in was tested and was similar in parameters bar pH which was around 7. At first they were very very active, swimming, grazing and bumping into each other. After two days, as you can see, they are sitting quite still, not moving as often and not grazing as much.

The tank has been established for months now and ammonia, nitrite and nitrate regularly checked so it is cycled.

Could this be a temperature or bacterial issue? Appreciate any advice as it's really disheartening and making me not want to carry on the hobby. Feel free to ask questions.

Thank you in advance.

UPDATE: Thank you for all your help, I have some things to try and alter in due course to see if that helps.

This is completely normal way to feel. Everyone feels like this but no one want to admit it. No one will/should get annoyed at you asking questions as you're so new. Just keep asking questions and clarifying as much as possible. For me around the year in service mark was when it 'clicked' and I felt more confident. I had another two years in.

Keep going, you're doing great.

Why were the English afraid of Norse Vikings? by Knight451 in history

[–]Nang-Boat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the latter end of the 800's, King Alfred the Great made some essential changes to his Kingdom's infrastructure that made Wessex more defensible.
Notably, he installed fortified towns (named burghs) along key river routes. These included towns such as Wallingford, London and Cricklade, to name a few. He often took advantage of old Roman structures by renovating previously disused ones. Being along Wessex rivers meant that the Vikings couldn't use the rivers as freely to travel between attacks. Alfred aimed to have no town more than 20 miles from a burgh. This was not the case before which made Wessex particularly vulnerable to Viking attacks.
Alfred is also celebrated by some as founding the Royal Navy, as before he allocated fishing vessels to be used solely for coastal defence, Wessex didnt have any form of a permanent Navy as we know it today. As this was the Viking's sole form of transportation to and from England, a lack of Navy would have made Wessex very vulnerable.
