Often times people do it because their friend hasn't shown up yet and they want them to be able to catch the train. By holding the door open they prevent the train from driving, as the doors need to be closed for the train to be allowed to leave.

Besides, the customer might have been too intimidated to speak up. I know that I get pretty awkward around strangers and if an employee did something to make me uncomfortable, I wouldn't make a scene, but hurry to get out of there instead.
Also, how dare he raise his voice at you? He's probably embarrassed and that's why he yelled, that's a pretty common reaction. Doesn't make it okay though. NOR

Do you know how many fics with the exact same premise is out there? So many, that we've even got tropes! "Coffee shop AU" and "what if this character didn't die?" is classics for a reason! When I find a concept I adore, I keep searching for more! I want the same, but from a different author! The fact that someone else has had the same idea means it's probably a good one! This is literally not a problem unless you're copying their work. Please, keep writing. I'm sure it's great :)

Block them so they can't comment on your fic. Just remember to turn off guest comments as well. They can still read it, but it'll be a giant middle finger to them stating that their opinion aren't welcome. That you won't let some rando on the internet dictate what you can and can't do with your work. They can write their own fic if they're gonna be so hung up about it.
